One country where there is still plenty of evidence of ancient Roman rule is Croatia. Here you will find a wealth of fantastic treasures from the Empire’s rule over the country, which lasted over 500 years. Expect colourful parades, epic feasts, games, decorations, fairs and the fiercely competitive Diocletian’s Cup competition. Fan of Roman history or not, this is an amazing experience which is not to be missed.
