The majority of protesters trying to block the building of an oil pipeline through Native American land in the U.S. state of North Dakota returned to near their base camp Saturday morning after two days of escalated tensions between them and the police. An American Airlines passenger jet caught fire Friday at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, forcing an emergency evacuation of passengers and the closure of several runways. Federal regulators have given approval for U.S. clinical trials of a Cuban-developed lung cancer vaccine. The government says the average American ate nearly a pound more seafood in 2015 than he or she did the previous year. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released the statistic Wednesday along with its annual Fisheries of the United States report.
