151. Is Liberalism and Political Correctness Making Fools of us All?
December 02, 2015

It’s easy to explain the presence of dinosaurs on earth, but there is still no real evidence that they evolved. Man is here now in all his highly intelligent glory, but they still can’t prove he evolved either. Every now and then they pull a few bones out of a cave and blow the evolution trumpet with or without much empirical proof. Naledi man and Ida are good examples, but that leaves untold millions still never found that should make up a good cross section of the fossil record – a record that does not exist. In fact, there are probably more members and sympathizers for Isis in a thousand Sy... (read more)

152. ART BLUNDERS - GOODHALL AND CALDERON
November 28, 2015

RUTH AND NAOMI - THE CALDERON BLUNDER ? The fine artistic interpretations by Philip Hermogenes Calderon are of as high a standard as anything among his contemporaries. Born in France in 1833, he was keeper of the Royal Academy for a while and his works compared to the likes of Alma Tadema , Frederick Leyton, Lexden Pocock, Frederick Goodall, among others who populated the art world in the second half of the 19th. century stand on a well deserved plinth. His paintings hang in galleries throughout the world not to mention The London Tate and the Walker Gallery in Liverpool. The... (read more)

153. DID JESUS EXIST ?
November 22, 2015

DID JESUS EXIST ? ( Part one). Academics on the bandwagon When the novel “The DaVinci Code” broke the bank, it confused millions with pretensions of dramatic historical evidence which were no more than garbled, borrowings of other people´s efforts. There was work however in the world of the low grade media to keep it busy for a whole year at least as the fancy piece of story telling led to a film that promised to reveal more. This piece of literary folly, awakened public sentiment more than any straightforward honest investigations that laid bare much of the myth of the clever ... (read more)

154. Getting your prayer in
November 21, 2015

In the gospel of Luke Chaper s verse 32 Jesus says, I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers." Here, Jesus is telling Peter he has prayed for him, that the prayer is has already taken place. Using the model of prayer, given here by Jesus, you do want to get some prayers in, whether or not it is with the caveat before it is too late. The prayer Jesus is referring to is intercessory, pertains to both personal and spiritual matters of both Peter and people he is in contact with now and people he may be in c... (read more)

155. Current Events In Bible Prophecy
November 12, 2015

It is now November of 2015. I can remember since the mid-seventies talking about how Russia with their allies in the latter days are going to be attacking Israel from the north and how God was going to intervene and wipe out five sixths of the invading armies. With Russia establishing two military bases in the mid-east, one in Iraq and the other in Syria. Russia also fighting along side with the Iranian’s against ISIS and the USA turning their back on Israel it appears the stage is being set for the fulfilling of Ezekiel 38-39. In the book of Zechariah it states that Israel will be alone ... (read more)

156. Putin Warns Isis - Obama Warns School District about Girls Shower Room
November 07, 2015

My first inclination was to title this piece, “Obama threatens to spank school district for not favoring a single transgender student.” Too crass, I thought, but along came an article before I got to write word one; it was entitled “Complete Anarchy’ as Obama Invades girls’ Showers.” The subtitle was even more scathing and reads “Feds force school to comply with 'profoundly stupid' rule.” Good online writers’ hyperlink their important references for safety sake, but this one had to be connected for the reader whose incredulity would not allow them to believe what they were reading. ... 157. Paul's conversion and enabling grace
November 02, 2015

Paul talks at lenghtabout his conversion experience in Acts Chapter 26 and in this accout he details just how zealous, hard working, and intense he was about persecuting Christians until his fateful encounter on the Road to Emmaus. For sure though, this was a direct confrontation with the powerful graces of the Lord for conversion and correction. Looking at what happened after this, we can infer that that Lord was looking at Paul as someone who coudld also convert that zeal and dedication for the wrong route to the road of service for that Lord. He probably did't expect or want Paul ... (read more)

158. CNBC Debate: Cruz breaks up MSM - Unifies Candidates
October 30, 2015

Sen. Ted Cruz clobbered the moderators of the CNBC debate on Wednesday October 28 when he was asked a ‘gotcha’ question, but instead of taking the bait, he began to rebuke the CNBC inquisitors. Cruz said, “The questions that have been asked so far in this debate illustrate why the American people don’t trust the media. This is not a cage match. And you look at the questions – 'Donald Trump, are you a comic book villain?' 'Ben Carson, can you do math?' 'John Kasich, will you insult two people over here?' 'Marco Rubio, why don’t you resign?' 'Jeb Bush, why have your numbers fallen?' How abo... (read more)

159. Mock Prophecy at Your Own Risk - America is not Exempt
October 29, 2015

The late Harold Camping made his apologies before his death about forecasting the end of the world. Some false prophets don’t apologize for their mistakes because they were sent by an enemy to weaken and obfuscate the real message of prophecy. The desired effect is to turn hearts away from giving full credence to true biblical prophecy and sending the unwary glibly down the path to their own destruction. We may fight, deny and decry true prophecy, but like everything else in our world, prophecy has its day. “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heav... (read more)

Every fall, Christmas travel specials frequent our tv's, smartphones and computers.. And every fall, we always pass up on some of the best opportunities. 161. A Perfect Storm of Self-Destruction
October 24, 2015

This is a difficult dissertation to write; not in terms of the actual composition, but in how to communicate context. (But isn’t that frequently the problem?) Writers are advised to respect readers, which I always strive to do; and therefore, hope you will receive the meaning in the spirit it is given. My intention is not to deliver a value judgment, disparage any person or group, preach, or persuade you to agree with my point of view; rather a presentation of information and subsequent opinion as I view it from my own humble lens of experience and environment. I leave you to draw your own con... (read more)

162. It is not up to any President - It is entirely up to us
October 18, 2015

Realism ignores the blather of both the pessimist and the optimist. The realist does not ask if the glass is half full or half empty. When an eight ounce glass is half gone the realist says there is four ounces of fluid in the glass. It is a statement of fact not a positive or a negative statement. The America we live in today is almost depleted of all morality and is about to be emptied out in judgment and shame. This also is neither positive nor negative – this is a fact. Any prophet, preacher, evangelist or Bible read layman who is willing to tell the truth has been proclaiming th... (read more)

163. Geraldo Condescending about Ben Carson's Faith? - Pompous is as Pompous Does
October 14, 2015

The insults are flowing like a river this week. First GQ mag, a liberal rag, with all the class of a plane crash has taken to insulting Ben Carson for saying that people should defend themselves from mass murderers. There is little to say about a magazine that seems to be headquartered in a foreign land – world? Then along comes Geraldo on the Factor Friday October 9, 2015 belittling Carson’s belief in Creationism. Since the candidate I support is the one Rush recently declared as the “most principled,” Ted Cruz, no one can say I am speaking from bias. I am speaking from disgust at t... (read more)

164. Mystery of Life
October 08, 2015

“The most important things in life are unknown and unknowable.” – W. Edwards Deming I have to tell you, dear reader, that statement of Deming’s is downright annoying. More irritating is that I know Deming is right; and it becomes clearer to me as I grow older. For instance, when science says that (based on elementary statistics) there is life elsewhere in the universe, and me being scientifically educated, I believe they are correct in their supposition. I mean, just in our Milky Way galaxy there are between 200 and 400 billion stars and countless planets, many of which are of the roc... (read more)

October 05, 2015

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” (Pr 9: 10) The fear (reverential awe) spoken of in Proverbs has to do with choosing both a source and a direction. When men choose God for their source and their directions in life they have passed out of darkness and into both light and life. After utilizing a little empiricism to discover how God produced the worlds, the natural man engages pride, vanity and self-assurance to dismiss God. Then man proceeds to relegate faith in God to superstition, religious nonsense and laughable erro... (read more)

166. Pope addresses lawmakers two days after they allow abortion after twenty weeks
October 01, 2015

In the PC climate of today any correction or allusion to truth either dies in the face of cultural trends or is construed as bashing, hatred or some new phobia. It is the new byzantine way of saying, just shut up and go away. The reasons 950 million Protestants who have not fallen into apostasy believe the scriptures alone are authoritative and not the Pope have always been known, but the world is both prone and prophetically driven to choose the path of religious dogma rather than accept the authority of scripture. An amateur or a first year student of the Greek language knows that ... (read more)

167. 7 Easy Questions for the Donald that Even an "Apprentice" Could Answer
September 27, 2015

Should we ask Donald Trump or Forrest Gump these all important questions? The Donald calls a lot of people “stupid”- Forrest Gump at least offered a definition for stupid. Gump said – “Stupid is as stupid does” In the area of what Trump has done or what he is doing, we will have to eliminate the acquisition of ten billion dollars for the obvious reasons. A child’s first trip to Disney World and an adult’s first million dollars are both pretty much fantasies for the average American so for the sake of this argument we will set aside the entire matter of acquiring wealth for the more p... 168. Praying your problems
September 17, 2015

One Timothy Chaper 2 says, I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. In facing off with your own problems, which of course can see and feel to close to home to keep a perspective on that is positive or even accurate, you want to blend praying about your particular problems with also praying for people throughout the world with the same or quite similar problems. What this goes into, is your own contribution t... (read more)

169. You Can Start the Roman Persecution Again - But Our King is not the President
September 15, 2015

One of the chief reasons that Christians were dragged into the arenas and the Coliseum was because they would not heel to the Roman law that required that they name no other King besides the Roman emperor. For true Christians not naming Christ as our King would be the equivalent of blasphemy. The world does not understand that if we would proclaim his name to our own hurt, including death that means we accept everything God has said as ultimate authority. If Christ says marriage is only real between one man and one woman we don’t care if Sodomites proclaim that they were born that wa... (read more)

170. Can America be Great Again without Getting Right Again - Can you spell Naïve?
September 12, 2015

When does wishful thinking become dangerous and when does naiveté pose a serious threat to our future. Is it a deep complicated issue to be hashed out in endless debate and heated discourse? Beware - the answer, so plain and right in our face, may be the stumbling block that brings us down with a whimper rather than the war cry of the mighty. If we blithely refuse to dance to the piper will we bravely go on to ignore the trumpet? Here’s the answer in all its simplicity - it cannot be done. We have a clear choice. We are called to the last dance, but we will be dragged to the last tr... (read more)

September 10, 2015

Over 7,000 fans flooded the field at AT&T Park after the Giants suffered a tough loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday. Even though their team did not win spirits remained high amongst Giants enthusiasts who were more interested in hearing their heroes offer testimonies of faith, rather than how the team played on “Fellowship Day.” Giants Players: Santiago Casilla, Ryan Vogelsong, Hunter Strickland, Jeremy Affeldt, Justin Maxwell, Kelby Tomlinson, and General Manager Bobby Evans shared how their faith in God has played a meaningful role in their personal and professional lives. ... September 08, 2015

After the arrest of Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis the voices of those who see what is happening as a result of Obergefell V. Hodges are sending a cry and a call to action. Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has started a website to support Clerk Davis at FreeKimDavisNow.com The question is why are we waiting until the results of the last seven years of the belligerent gay agenda to take root? 174. How To Become A Christian
September 01, 2015

If you are contemplating about becoming a Christian and wondering what is involved in becoming a Christian the first thing you need to realize is we are all sinners and all of us need forgiveness. Everybody! I know you are probably thinking, “It’s too late for me.” It’s only too late once you are dead. Or you might be saying to yourself “You don’t know what I have done.” True, most of us feel that way about our pasts but it really doesn’t matter even if you have killed people. 175. Come As You Are
August 28, 2015

One common mistake a lot of people make when attempting to come to God is they try to first "clean up their act." Huge mistake! You will never be able to clean up your act without God's intervention in your life. If you wait to come to God until after you have cleaned up your act you may never come to God. It's not your power that makes you a Christian. It’s only by the power of God and the Holy Spirit that will lead you to a victorious Christian life. I made that mistake when I was in my early twenties. I accepted Jesus and I started going to church. One day after church I stepped out... (read more)
