Here you will find over 50 food stalls in the beautiful restored 1845 South Market where butchers, fishmongers, bakers, pasta makers and cheese vendors among others hawk their goods. I recommend checking out the North Market on the opposite side of Front St on a Saturday where there is a Farmers’ Market from 5am, whilst on Sundays there is a fun antiques market filled with all kinds of goodies. Royal Ontario Museum Prepare to be dazzled at the ROM which is one of the biggest museums in all of North America with over 6 million specimens and artefacts in the permanent collection. These are divided between the Natural History Galleries and the World Culture Galleries, plus there are also all kinds of large temporary exhibits from around the world throughout the year. You can spend a good day here exploring the dinosaur rooms, Egyptian mummies, Chinese temple sculptures, Korean art and much more. The museum offers free daily tours which are highly informative and intriguing. The ROM also hosts Friday Night Live programmes in the spring and autumn when the building is transformed into a makeshift disco!
