1. America: You Can't Have Your Cake
November 01, 2017

You can’t have your cake and eat it too is an idiomatic proverb or figure of speech thought to have been used since the sixteenth century. It is the equivalent of saying, “you can’t have it both ways.” Americans, it is said, are living in the most dumbed down generation in our history. College freshmen are reading at tenth grade high school level and knowledge of basic things like geography and history are an embarrassment to many from elementary to post grad school. This may not be the time to expect that even common wisdom is enough for us to engage in to unravel the long list of... (read more)

2. 'Reason Rally' Highlights Non-religious Voting Bloc
June 04, 2016

Thousands of agnostics, humanists, free thinkers, and atheists gathered at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. Saturday for a day of reasoning. The Reason Rally 2016 aimed to show lawmakers that non-religious believers are a community of voters worth being courted in the upcoming November presidential election, according to organizers. “We’re like ten blocks from the White House, so let’s make [President] Obama hear us.  We’re also calling this a voter bloc party,” declared Lyz Liddell, executive director of the Reason Rally Coalition. Organiz... (read more)

3. 9 Signs You Have Never Reincarnated
March 30, 2015

Have you lived previous lives? About two-thirds of the world’s population believes in reincarnation. Disbelievers reject the concept of reincarnation, though how many of them have investigated the concept objectively? The “I’m just a hunk of meat with a brain-- no soul” types (typically atheists) completely ignore, or aren’t even aware of, the important reincarnation research done by Dr. Ian Stevenson and other professionals in the field. Are you skeptical about reincarnation? Good, because that’s better than automatically rejecting or embracing a concept about which you’re no... (read more)

4. Dear Santa, All I want for Christmas is to skip classroom indoctrination - one generation of fairy
December 04, 2014

This year the American Atheists National Convention has decided to wage war in the Bible Belt of our nation with billboards with the following caption being placed all over the south. “Dear Santa, All I want for Christmas is to skip church! I’m too old for fairy tales” Defending what has become Christmas is a futility if we consider that now merchants have circumvented the argument about whether to call it Christmas or the holidays – now it’s the ‘shopping season.’ If that’s all there is to it then we may have nothing to argue about. But if it is still about the birth of the Sav... (read more)

5. Reconsidering 7 Beliefs of Atheists
August 04, 2014

Atheists don’t believe in God for various reasons, and they should be allowed to believe what they want. Religious freedom is a wonderful thing. However, it’s our belief that some atheists base their viewpoint on misunderstandings. Here are seven common convictions atheists hold, our thoughts, and why they may want to reconsider. “There is no heaven or afterlife.” Based on many Near Death Experiences or NDEs, such as described in videos on Youtube and in the books Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon’s Journey into the Afterlife by Eben Alexander III M.D., and To Heaven and Back: A... 6. Atheists: It's not about Christ in Christmas - It's about God in a Baby
December 19, 2013

Who could have foreseen a time when debates with atheists would become a Christmas tradition? Recently, Dave Muscato and other atheists have made appearances on news shows debating their first amendment freedoms to be non-believers. Hannity and O’Reilly are among the newsmen who have debated with Muscato and other atheists and yours truly debated with him on the Alan Colmes radio show earlier this month. The arguments are reaching fever pitch because now the focus is on the infamous billboard placed in New York’s Times Square where the word “Christ” is crossed out - all day long on t... (read more)

7. Atheism: Poor Odds, Bad Science and the ‘Law of Non Contradictions
November 20, 2013

“Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.” (Proverbs 26: 4) An atheist, a prophet and a liberal walk into an interview On Wednesday November 13, 2013 I was scheduled for an interview with Fox News Radio’s Alan Colmes. There was supposed to be an American Atheist, director of media relations Dave Muscato and a Rabbi in the three way discussion. The Rabbi was unable to take part, so it came down to Muscato, and I and Alan Colmes as the moderator. Colmes, the quintessential controversy monger, was cordial, friendly and although he directed most of... (read more)

8. The Christian Experience/How the Church has Fallen Short
November 14, 2013

by Frederick Hoehn, copyright 2012 Author's note: As a Christian since a small boy, and now a senior, I've seen good and bad occurrences in Christianity, but Christians have a bright future if they'll "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." (Philippians 2:12) May we all strive to please the Lord. F.H. Some have called the United States a "Christian Nation." This is not exactly correct. America does have many Christians, but we also have people of other religions, and we have freedom of religion. We can't be forced to be any certain religion. There ar... (read more)

9. MY FIRST QUESTION TO ATHEISTS RESULTS:
October 15, 2013

Question 1: Did you ever have religious upbringing, if so what denomination” Roman Catholic: 4 Presbyterian: 1 Dutch Reformed (pseudo Roman Catholic): 1 Southern Baptist: 1 Baptist:1 Pentecostal: 1 Now this is absolutely non-scientific, however during my time as being a Christian Apologist, I have noted how many souls have left the church due to Roman Catholicism. Why is this? My idea and I would certainly open this to discussion, however since the Roman Church is apostate, it gives so much works based salvation that it is driving people from the church. Works based salvation i... (read more)

10. WHY DID GOD LET THE SERPENT (SATAN) INTO THE GARDEN OF EDEN?
September 30, 2013

Atheists love to bring up this argument stating that it would be wrong for God to do so, knowing what would happen. The first question I would like to ask the atheist is “from what moral standard would you be coming from?” If you present the argument as it being wrong for God to do so, then you must be coming from a moral standpoint. Adam had a good grasp of what right and wrong was. He was an adult and had the free will to chose whether or not to take a bite of the fruit that Eve presented him with. It all boiled down to the freedom that God gave Adam to choose. The freedom to choose ope... (read more)

11. Pray For The Roman Catholic Followers
September 09, 2013

have always wondered as to why a lot of the atheists I have conversed with were once Roman Catholics? I don’t know if anyone else that reads this post has had the same observation, my guess would be yes. I would like to do a study on that connection. Maybe it is because … they believe (or are told) that Baptism is necessary for salvation (CCC 1257), or maybe it is “Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation,” (CCC 846), or “The Church affirms that for believers the sacraments of the New Covenant are ne... 12. LGBT and the Atheists - The New ‘Body Snatchers' of the Last Days
September 09, 2013

“If your entire sense of morality and right and wrong is derived from today’s pop-culture trends – you are probably on a direct path to hell.” Anon In a visit to a state fair in Minnesota evangelist Bradlee Dean’s ministry booth came under attack from a local TV station acting on information taken from the Southern Poverty Law Center which labeled him and his ministry a hate group. The attack is typical of the LGBT, the SPLC and similar groups who seem to think that labeling people as haters or worse is their particular calling or stock in trade. While the practice of labeling people... (read more)

13. The Weaver's Shuttle - Why Atheist's are Attempting to Change the Laws
September 07, 2013

This week, the justices of the Massachusetts Supreme Court are examining the atheists challenge against “one nation under God” in the pledge of allegiance. They will be trying to determine if that phrase violates the equal rights amendment of the state’s constitution. We can only wonder if the atheists have nothing better to do with their time and money than to hire attorneys to question the pledge, since no student is forced to recite the pledge. It is totally voluntary. Federal courts have previously ruled that the pledge does not violate anyone’s constitutional rights but the athe... (read more)

14. Atheists, They Are Not
June 30, 2013

People appear to be so busy in their lives that they don’t have time for Jesus. No, they are not atheists. They are just children who have lost their way and are presently going in a wrong direction. People fail in love, acquire jobs, have friendships; and they have their lives to blame. They loose hope, give up on life and choose the wrong path. They are not doing it willingly, they are just lost and need someone to guide them through this period of darkness towards the ray of hope. Modern lives have consumed people so badly that they even do not visit church. People such as these need t... (read more)

15. Pope Francis Said What?
May 23, 2013

I was reading an article today from the Huffington Post and it was Pope Francis saying that “Atheists Who Do Good Are Redeemed, Not Just Catholics.” Referring to a recent sermon, everyone is saved. This is one step away from universalism but two steps into heresy! By “Good” according to Roman Catholic dogma, he is speaking of “Good Works”. “Works” based Salvation is not biblical. Not to mention that not believing in God is obviously not biblical. Even Satan believes in God and we know where he and his fallen angels are heading at Judgment Day and it certainly will not be heaven! James 2:1... (read more)

16. Terminology Tuesday: Myth
April 30, 2013

I have encountered many people, predominantly atheists that throw around the names such as Isis, Horus and Osiris as examples of mythological characters that incorrectly are addressed as proponents of how the Christian faith came to be. In response to those very ridiculous and empty arguments I believe we should actually read the definition of “Myth”. *The term myth is most often associated with fable or with the historically inauthentic (fiction) rather than with truth and objective reality. Hence some people apply myth to any part of the Christian message that includes the supernatural ... (read more)

17. Thousands in Bangladesh Rally for Anti-Blasphemy Laws
April 06, 2013

Thousands of members of a hardline Muslim group protested Saturday in the streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh, demanding the government enact anti-blasphemy laws. Members and supporters of the group Hifazat-e-Islam are calling for the law in reaction to a group of bloggers the Muslim activists accuse of being atheists who have been insulting Islam. The bloggers have been under pressure in recent weeks for writings critical of Islam. The bloggers are demanding capital punishment for militants found guilty of war crimes during the nation's 1971 war for independence.Earlier this week, four blog... (read more)

18. ATHEISTS DEBATE
March 10, 2013

Mini debates regarding the status of religion in our modern world are flaring up with increasing frequency. The average person does with increasing awareness have the tools to question what they have been told and taught. Recently I have noticed some people who call themselves religious, will present an argument which suggests an intelligent creator must be responsible for the world around us because scientists haven’t yet fully explained what came before the big band. So, in the case of Christians, they would then need to re-write the Bible (part three) remembering to leave out everything in... (read more)

19. There Are No Atheists in a Fox Hole
February 25, 2013

“There Are No Atheists in a Fox Hole” This saying came out of World War I. World War I was even more miserable than most. Often battles were fought in open fields no place to hide. Soldiers dug long trenches and stayed there Summer and Winter. If it rained they would soaked with no warm food or drink. The bullets never stopped coming, the bombs never stopped falling. Next to you was your closest friend. The war raged on and your friend was hit. He screamed in pain and you were scared to death. Would you then be an atheist or would you cry “God, dear God please help me.” Do you need ... (read more)

20. An Atheist's Guide to Dating a Catholic
February 16, 2013

When it comes to topics that cause disputes and arguments, few things get more heated than discussing religion. While politics and money are the other big causes of arguments, religion is something that many of us take even more seriously and personally, and that has even more wide and varied views. Atheists often just can't understand Catholics, while Catholics can't understand how atheists can live without a God in their life - and this then leads to misunderstandings and disagreements involving the way they raise their children, the way they spend their time, the way they vote and even the... 21. Great Atheists
February 02, 2013

Recently I have been watching some of the debates on youtube featuring Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens. Often they are debating theological leaders of various faiths and jurisdictions around the world. I find it hard to believe, that any reasonable person (religious or otherwise) could watch some of these debates and not come away with a sense of awe at the level of intelligence, reason and fact presented by these guys. It seems to me that they are not only spreading the truth but doing so - fearlessly. Christopher Hitchens is ofcourse no longer alive. His death, does in my opini... (read more)

This provides about a different concern, do you allow your self to only think in factors that other persons can establish or that science decides as truth. Faith exists as a perception program, nevertheless scientists claim its all non-sense. Did you know as considerably as ninety% of researchers are atheists? This just displays you appropriate off the bat these individuals are not into believing anything but what they can show by their gentleman made exams. 24. Is Being An Atheist Bad For Your Health?
December 24, 2012

In my experience with atheists, I have found most of them to be unhappy individuals (not all, but most of my encounters). I have found them to be not only unhappy, but downright miserable when it comes to chat rooms or forum debates. I took a bit of time out for research and was somewhat surprised to find medical and psychological reports that were shocking. Here is some of what I found; A Connection between Atheism and Suicide? In 2004, the American Journal of Psychiatry had reported the following: “Religiously unaffiliated subjects had significantly more lifetime suicide attem... (read more)

25. Atheists' Advertise Bah-humbug in Times Square
December 21, 2012

The controversial and perhaps blasphemous exclamation made by actor, Jamie Foxx, has hardly dropped off the news cycle and along comes the ‘American Atheists’ spooks with a glaring Times Square billboard advertisement with a picture of Santa on the top and a picture of Christ being crucified on the bottom. The caption reads, “Keep the merry – Drop the myth.” Perhaps the atheists are afraid that godless educators may have missed some students in their initial college years. Those who got out from under the peer pressure of the secularized generations manta that assures by sheer preponderan... (read more)
