As people, we like to receive new things. Whether we get something on Christmas, on our birthdays, or even when we buy something for ourselves, it just feels good. And I wrote about this before, once in a while, it’s good to buy something for yourself as a way to celebrate the wins you achieve in life, big or small. When I was thinking of other things to add to my wish list, one of the things I constantly asked myself was, “If I buy this, will I actually use it?” That question alone filtered out a lot of things that would’ve otherwise made it on my wishlist.
