Temp to hire staffing, as the name suggests, means hiring an employee on a temporary position. The employee is assessed during this period and if his or her performance is satisfactory they may be offered a permanent position in the company. It’s also a good way to get one’s foot in the door which, as I mentioned before, may lead to a permanent job.
