Double built-in electric ovens are taller and fitted into cabinets or below an under-counter unit. These ovens can be smaller as two cooking chambers are slotted into a space which is marginally bigger than a single oven. Other important factors to consider while buying: Material of the built- in oven : It can be made of stainless steel or stainless steel with enamel finish. All are heat treated to withstand high temperatures. If you opt for a stainless steel model, it is advisable to choose one with anti- fingerprint, not always having to wipe fingerprints from the oven. Enameled ovens are stronger in terms of fingerprints than glossy. Cleaning System After the model chosen, an oven may have dozens of functions. Some of the most important are self-cleaning systems which keep the oven fresh without additional cleaning effort from your side. Price : This trendy kitchen appliance is more expensive than a conventional oven. The starting price of a built- in gas oven with timer and grill is about the same. Prices may increase depending on the additional features that each oven has. Whichever type of built- in oven you choose, you are sure to enjoy a higher level of cooking ease and lesser effort in maintenance than a conventional oven.
