Badoit, the French sparkling mineral water brand, are hosting a picnic restaurant in London’s Soho Square on Thursday 13th June 2013. The restaurant, titled Badoit Express, will be free of charge and is available to the first 50 guests who arrive, or 50 lucky diners who were able to book places in advance. Beginning at 12:30pm, the unique temporary venue will only hold the reserved picnic blankets for parties for 10 minutes before giving them away to more punctual guests, so arriving on time is imperative. Two-Michelin-starred chef Thierry Marx, owner of the Sur Mesure par Thierry Marx restaurant in Paris, has created the menu for the al fresco experience, which will put a classy spin on traditional English packed lunches. The setting for the picnic restaurant has been designed by Fred Sirieix, general manager of the Michelin-starred Galvin at Windows restaurant.
