401. Would You Drive 230 Miles Just to Deliver School Dinners?
December 05, 2013
All schools need to hire the services of a dedicated caterer, but is to so hard to find a reliable one that a company which travels an astounding 500 miles to transport lunches every day needs to be employed? That's exactly what Nottingham based caterer Cygnet Catering are doing, as they by supply daily meals to more than 100 schools based in Dorset. This journey takes up to four hours and all meals are transported in refrigerated Lorries. The scheme has been called 'ludicrous' by parents of the school children, and it has been criticised by government watchdogs who decry the 1,000 miles ... (read more)

403. Obama's Iranian Farce - Leaves another American Citizen Behind
November 27, 2013
Pastor Saeed Abedini goes on languishing in an Iranian prison in poor health as President Barack Obama touts his peace plan with Iran to the public. The centrifuges have slowed, but the subterfuge is on the rise as Obama’s latest foreign policy farce is heralded as the best deal with Iran in a decade.
The nation and those who represent Saeed Abedini, Jay Sekulow from the American Center for Law and Justice, and the wife and children of Pastor Saeed have all been cast off like they meant no more to Barack Obama than a few good soldiers and an ambassador to Benghazi.
Now the miserable ... (read more)

404. Has America Become the Habitation of Devils?
November 26, 2013
“God has no foibles and is not farcical, finicky, or foolish otherwise he may have given us the Ten Suggestion” – Anon
I do not agree with those who say America is the ‘Babylon’ spoken of in the book of Revelation. It is impossible to deny that America is a type of Babylon. America is the undisputed leader in every prurient proclivity and perverted pursuit in the world. Thus, the picture of the fallen Babylon can also be shared by this nation at this moment in time.
“And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitatio... (read more)

November 20, 2013
“Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.” (Proverbs 26: 4)
An atheist, a prophet and a liberal walk into an interview
On Wednesday November 13, 2013 I was scheduled for an interview with Fox News Radio’s Alan Colmes. There was supposed to be an American Atheist, director of media relations Dave Muscato and a Rabbi in the three way discussion. The Rabbi was unable to take part, so it came down to Muscato, and I and Alan Colmes as the moderator.

408. Review-Unions for Beginners
November 17, 2013
Unions for Beginners, David Cogswell, 2012, ISBN 9781934389775
The forty-hour work week, pensions and safe working conditions became part of the American employment landscape because employers felt that it was the proper thing to do, right? No, those things came into existence because of strikes and agitation by labor unions.
Why are unions supposedly at the root of America's financial problems, despite the huge drop in numbers of unionized workers over the past half century? The American corporate class (the 1 percent) wants nothing to stand in the way of their pursuit of profit. Em... (read more)

411. Letter to Schnitt
November 15, 2013
SUBJECT: TODD'S FRIEND IN I.C.U.
06/10/11
Todd--You were telling about your friend, now in ICU, who started having speech problems a few days ago, and then the symptoms got progressively worse. (Fester)
From hearing your description of the problem, I believe your friend has suffered an attack from a demon, a fallen angel who rebelled against God when Satan did.
I'm not sure, but did you say your friend was part of your staff? By any chance, did he read the email I sent you about Weinergate? The reason I ask is that in that email, I mentioned Karen Carpenter, who died at ... (read more)

412. Massacre in Aurora, Colorado
November 15, 2013
MASSACRE IN AURORA, CO 07/23/12
by Frederick Hoehn, copyright 2012
Over this last weekend, people were murdered at a movie theater in Aurora, CO.
What causes that? Demons. What are demons? Demons are fallen angels that rebelled against God when Satan did. Demons get into people and make them do crazy things, unless those people are God-fearing people, such as Christians. Christians are far more likely to resist demons than unbelievers in God.
The young man was studying for a PhD. He was studying "How people behave." People behave in many ways. But a co... (read more)

413. Letter to Prime Minister
November 15, 2013
04/22/2011
Dear Japanese Prime Minister:
We have seen on the news about the devastation in Japan from the earthquake and tsunami, with the resulting damage to the nuclear power generation facilities.
I hope that your nation is well down the road to recovery. I would like to suggest that it may not be the best investment to put money into more nuclear power generation facilities, since they may not last long enough to justify the expenditure. Conventional coal burning power generation might be a better short-term strategy.
I was in Japan several times in the 1960's, as... (read more)

414. End of the World in 2012?
November 15, 2013
by Frederick Hoehn, copyright 2012.
It's been on the news lately about people counting down to "the end of the world."
Those people are wasting their time. The world won't end during our lifetimes. If you're alive now, you won't be alive when the world ends.
The Bible says, "No man knows the day nor the hour when the Son of Man comes."
Isn't it the Mayan calendar that predicts the end of the world in 2012? Nonsense. The world won't end this year.
Before the end of the world, there'll be seven years of Great Tribulation. And the Great Tribulation hasn't started ... (read more)

415. Damned if You Don't
November 15, 2013
By Frederick Hoehn, copyright 2013.
We have an expression, “Damned if you do, and damned if you don’t.” It came up recently on TV regarding the decision the President was making whether to strike the regime of Bashar Al Assad in Syria or not.
There is an unpleasant set of possible results if we do, and also if we don’t.
But with God, you’re only damned if you don’t get born again.
In John chapter 3, Jesus said, “You must be born again.” You get born again when you believe the gospel message that Jesus never sinned, died on the cross for our sins, and that God rais... (read more)

416. Whistleblower Reward Programs Could Help Regain Funds From Tax Dodgers
November 15, 2013
According to statistics from the California Franchise Tax Board, the state is owed approximately 6.5 billion dollars in unpaid taxes. Some contend that a partial solution to the problem would be to implement a whistleblower rewards program to encourage people to report tax fraud. California whistleblower and securities attorneys think that implementing the program could help to recoup lost tax revenue. IRS whistleblower California attorneys agree.
The California state legislature passed bills that allow both the Franchise Tax Board and Board of Equalization to give awards to whistlebl... (read more)

There might be some so-called scientists who scoff at the notion of the end of the world. But I have a better source of information than people like that.
That source of information is the most important book in the world, the Bible.
In the end times, and as the end of the world approaches, there will be wars and rumors of wars, and earthquakes, famines, and pestilences. Earthquakes can set off volcanoes. I’ve heard lately about volcanoes, haven’t you?

421. Yemeni Terrorist
November 13, 2013
by Frederick Hoehn, copyright 2012. Many months ago, an airline passenger from Yemen was apprehended and arrested after trying to get into the cockpit of an airline flight in the U.S. He was said to say, "God is Great," in Arabic as he attempted to get into the cockpit.
The judge held him without bail, though the man's attorney argued he was no risk to the public. No risk to the public? Muslim terrorists are always a risk to the public, as we learned on 9/11/01.

423. Is Conservative Talk Radko Getting the Job Done?
November 12, 2013
by Frederick Hoehn, copyright 2013.
Most of the time, when I write, it's about Bible topics such as being an overcomer, or the Baptism with the Holy Ghost, or spiritual warfare against the forces of darkness.
I'm not a political animal. My major in college was not Political Science, it was Engineering.
Though I had a career in technology, my primary calling now is to be a Priest for the Lord. It is not to set the government straight.

424. Typhoon Hits Philippines
November 12, 2013

It's been in the news a lot lately about a killer typhoon that hit the Philippines. Many were killed. Many more were displaced.
Humanitarian aid is being sent to the Philippines. The U.S. military is helping out.
It was said that this was the worst storm of its kind, ever, in terms of destructive power.
There has been talk about "Hundred Year Storms," meaning storms that occur, on average, only about every hundred years.
The problem with that terminology is that some of these so-called "hundred year storms" are happening mu... (read more)

425. America Enters Stage Three of the Prophetic Message
November 12, 2013
ObamaCare is now sliding or perhaps slithering into home plate and has finally gotten the attention of most Americans. Democrats, the main stream media and the most goggle-eyed pundits like Bill Maher have all sat up and noticed that the Liar in Chief has put one over on them
So what could an old preacher possibly have to say about ObamaCare; isn’t it totally out of his purview and field of expertise?
Not on your life – it is the very heart of my message.
For upwards of 38 years I have warned that America is heading for a fiscal fall that will make the old crash of ‘29’ look mil... (read more)
