Nutrition experts say that there is a correlation between improper eating habits and overweight. Healthy eating habits are important for better results of exercise and weight control methods. A few good health tips help incredibly: a) Start the day with correct breakfast: It is important to have healthy breakfast daily. Contrary to the normal belief, breakfast does not increase weight, but actually reduces it! People who take proper breakfast stay alert and active throughout the day. They are able to concentrate more and work efficiently. Proper breakfast controls the urge of munching and you do not eat unnecessarily. It also reduces the urge to consume a lot of tea and coffee. However, it is important to eat healthy food for breakfast. Eat more proteins and fibers in the breakfast to keep energy level high. Eating more carbohydrates drops the sugar level and you feel drowsy and dull. b) Have a break between two servings: Our brain takes some time to understand the food level and therefore, wait for some time between two servings. It will give a fair idea whether you need one more serving or not. This is the best technique to control temptation. c) The heaviest breakfast and the lightest dinner: Well, the old saying holds true in the modern context as well. Eating heavy breakfast greatly reduces the quantity of food during the lunch. You tend to consume fewer calories and the fatty tissues reduce. Eating very light food in the dinner is better for the digestion system. It reduces the accumulation of fat in the body. d) Avoid every unnecessary bite: Do not eat when you are not sitting at the dining table. This is great way of avoiding unwanted intake. When you eat while standing on a roadside eating joint or in the car or in the movie theater, there are big chances of overeating. Make a discipline of not eating in between the lunch and the dinner. Eat fruits or low calorie food in the afternoon or evening when you feel hungry. Remember, it is just a desire to eat, not the real hunger. e) Start eating “friendly” food: There are various food items that help in reducing body fats. Citrus fruits are the biggest friends of those who want to shed some pounds quickly. These fruits contain vitamin C in ample quantity and it boosts the metabolic rate. Citrus fruits give stomach full feeling quickly without adding much calorie. There has been a lot of buzz about oats today. The wonder cereal reduces bad cholesterol because of rich fiber content. Insoluble fats correct the digestive system. Fish and nuts are rich in Omega acid. This is an important element that corrects the metabolic rate. It is clear that the traditional thinking about dieting has been proved incorrect by the recent findings. Dietitians and nutrition experts suggest eating wisely, instead of crash diet programs. Subscribe health and beauty books online for the latest development in health and well-being. The online book on health and fitness tells the systematic approach of weight reduction for miraculous results.
