In order to keep the perishable products from getting spoiled they are stored in refrigerated environments. The dairy products are also considered perishable products and are stored in the dairy fridges. The dairy fridges are a part of any food store as they are used in everyday life. There are several important factors that need to be considered while purchasing a dairy fridge for your shop because these factors can affect the functionality and efficiency of the appliance along with the quality of food that is stored in to. The different types of conditions which need to be considered before buying a dairy fridge are as following: Temperature: Temperature range of the appliance is one of the first and foremost factors to be considered. Not all of the food products can be stored at the same temperature. Each different type of food products has their own temperature range. The dairy products have their own specific temperature range in which they should be stored if you want to keep them fresh for a long period of time. You do not want the dairy products to be at a very low temperature so that they freezer or at a high temperature because then they will be spoiled. Most of the dairy fridges have a temperature range between 0 C to +8 C. Humidity: The humidity level or percentage is also an important factor to consider because the dairy products need to kept fresh and in order to do so you have to make sure that there is no bacterial growth. It is very important that the moisture level of the cold storage is kept at a certain range. If the humidity leave is kept very low then it can result in the product losing all of its moisture because the moisture will be absorbed by the air. If the humidity level is high then it can result in growth of moulds, bacteria which can totally spoil the product. The effects of humidity on the product can be prevented by proper packaging of the product. Flow of the air: The cold air inside the refrigerator should not be stationary. There should be an unhindered flow of the cold air inside the refrigerator. The heat transfer can be done very easily if the air flow of the appliance is continuous and smooth. The perfect air flow can be ensured with the help of a suitably designed cooling coil and a blower. It is important not to overstock the refrigerator because it can also cause a hindrance to the air flow. Storage time: You also need to determine the time frame for which the food products will be stored in the refrigerator. Also make a note on whether your dairy products need to be stored or preserved in frozen state or unfrozen state. If the products are in unfrozen then the storage time is less but if the products are in unfrozen state then the storage time is longer. But the rule is not that simple because different products have different freezing temperatures and the storage time can vary considerably even in the frozen state so keep the type of products you are going to store in mind as well.
