An agreement was reached Saturday to resume the evacuation of Syria’s eastern Aleppo. The evacuation was suspended Friday because of demands from pro-government forces who wanted two villages — Foua and Kfarya — evacuated. GENEVA— The United Nations refugee agency reports thousands of people in the Central African Republic (CAR) are fleeing to Chad and Cameroon to escape increasing violence in their country. Refugee Agency (UNHCR) said on Friday it will begin relocating 10,000 Mozambican refugees to better facilities within Malawi, the neighboring state they have fled to in a bid to escape renewed fighting in their homeland.
