How to Keep Organic Approach Work Everytime During Carpet Cleaning of Hardened Stains

Home Improvement,Health,Family & Parenting
However, great carpet as they may be, there is a lot of hassle involved with having a rug, and most of it boils down to not being able to keep it clean. It's quite common for people, and particularly children, to bring in dirt from outside and spill things on the floor. Cleaning stains from rugs often involves the use of toxic chemicals.

If you want to save money, kill germs, reduce chemical exposure in your home, and get hardened stains out of carpet effectively you can use items in your home, naturally safe

Although this is an easy way out, it doesn't really address the cause of the problem and you can end up having to clean the carpet all over again in a short while if some preventive measures are not taken. Here are some useful tips on how to clean carpets and rugs without using dangerous chemicals.

So there was this stain on the rug in your area. While it may seem like an easy option to use shop-bought chemicals to clean your home, these products often contain harmful chemicals that are bad for your skin as well as the environment. There are a number of very simple ways of cleaning most things in your home in an ecological fashion, so without further ado, here are some tips for removing stains without using dangerous chemicals.

If your old carpet is looking worse for wear and you don't want to use cleaners that contain harsh chemicals, there is a very simple, natural carpet cleaning way to get your carpet looking clean. Begin by vacuuming your carpet, using a brush to remove any dirt that's caught in the carpet. Make a carpet powder using one part cornmeal with two parts baking soda and sprinkle the mixture all over the carpet. Leave to settle for an hour and vacuum, which should leave you with an odourless, cleaner carpet.

For tough stains you should use a mixture of lemon juice, vinegar and water. Apply this liquid to the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes, using a cloth to mop it up after. Always test this liquid on a hidden part of carpet first to make sure the solution won't damage the colour. The vinegar and borax both have bacteria-killing power.

Alternatively use a steam carpet cleaner on hard to remove stains – another nontoxic carpet cleaning solution.

Vacuum It Now and Forever

Proper home maintenance is about much more than knowing how to clean carpets and deal with nasty stains. If you don't pay attention to the state of your carpets on a regular basis you will have a much harder job keeping them clean.

Salt Out the Spills

If you don't have a wet/dry vacuum, you can sprinkle salt on a spill, let it soak up the liquid and then run a regular vacuum over it. You should use salt immediately after noticing the spill. If the spill was left to soak into the rug, then you'll need to sprinkle some salt on it, vacuum and use some towels to help you blot out deeper stains.

Towel the Smaller Ones

It's important to act fast and deal with stains as soon as the mess has been made. A plain old white towel can be thrown on liquid spills to soak up most of it before it soaks into the rug or dries out. After you blot up the stain, you can wash it with some warm soapy water, rubbing it lightly with the towel and then leaving it to dry out. Soapy water will also do wonders for small dirt-stained patches.

If this wont work too well, call the pros for eco cleaning be done for your perfectly
