Patient from Uganda Receives an Extraordinary Gift by Liver Transplant Surgery India

At age 54, Miremba Diehl thought life ahead looked amazing. She and her high school sweetheart, Ochieng, now married 33 years. Both of them worked very hard to raise three daughters and ere enjoying lifestyles as new grandparents, traveling more than they'd ever been able to before. When Miremba kept getting ill in 2019, she didn’t assume much of it, figuring it would pass – until blood work results confirmed something significantly incorrect. Miremba’s liver enzyme numbers were sky-high.

Her gastroenterologist broke the news: Miremba was suffering from liver cancer. Her only chance to survive was a liver transplant. Miremba was placed on the transplant list as her liver started to deteriorate. Miremba continued working and waiting for another two years while she waited for a transplant to become available. Due to the lack of resources in Uganda, the doctor referred her to India. Since Miremba could not accept it, she decided to look out for Successful liver transplant surgery in India. Miremba learned that only 5 percent of his liver was working and even after an outpouring of support, no match had been found. The doctor had a meticulous conversation with the patient from Uganda. After a complete checkup and investigations were done, the doctors brought a smile on Miremba’s face by revealing that she could live for a much longer time by getting a Liver transplant surgery in India. The surgery was performed by one of the best surgeons for Liver transplant surgery in India and went successfully. A patient from Uganda was kept in the hospital for a few days. Before her discharge, she received a detailed session by the doctor about changes in his diet and another lifestyle.  Miremba is now recovering well and gradually getting relieved from the signs and symptoms that bothered her previously. “I also lost my hope for life. I am very happy with the decision of undergoing liver transplant surgery in India. 

 “I'm in monthly contact with forerunners healthcare consultant and transplant nurse practitioner overseeing my case.” Best of all, the Patient from Uganda is well sufficient to do most things she loves, like sailing along with her husband. “Without forerunners healthcare consultants, we might no longer be having this conversation nowadays,” a patient from Uganda says. “I am sure, there's nowhere else but to go liver transplant surgery India,” Miremba adds.
