Do All Britishers Love The Game of Bingo?

Entertainment,Hobbies,Gambling
Bingo looks like a passive game but believe it or not, it's not. The game is so famous in United Kingdom that it has seeped into the psyche of the Britishers. It has become synonymous with everything British like the old telephone booth, Big Ben, the red bus, etc. Britishers' affair with this game started during the world war II. It were the soldiers who brought this game to the British shores and it caught on like a wild fire. Another interesting fact to note is that the game landed across the pond too and there, the game was developed into its present form.

In United Kingdom, people prefer the 90 ball bingo game whereas the Americans are more inclined towards the 75 ball game. The numbers signify the range of the numbered balls that are called out by the caller during the course of a game. For instance, in the 90 ball version, 1 to 90 numbers can be called out. The players rush to strike out the numbers on their cards to make a winning pattern.

Bingo Never Gets Old in UK The fall of bingo halls was gradual in the UK. With the advent of technology and rise of the Internet, this game established itself for good. However, bingo was one of the games that has been doing the rounds for a while. May be, due to the convenience it presents to its players or the huge jackpots and interactive nature of the online sites, it has become a crowd favourite. Numbers tell you that most bingo players in United Kingdom are predominately women. This is a far cry from the stereotype of an average online gamer, who was believed to be in his teens, playing computer or console game all day long, letting his studies and social life slack. But the times have changed and the ladies have taken over. In UK, women over 35 years are considered to be as a potential player in bingo industry. This is because this game is believed to be less-consuming which allows the players to do many things and concentrate on other chores. With time, even men, both young and old, are logging onto bingo sites and playing the game for fun and cash. The average age of a player has come down. Now it's anywhere between 30 to 45. The credit mostly goes to the youngish themes that several online bingo sites have come up with. The players in Britain and even in Europe like to try 90 ball bingo more. This UK version is like the conventional game of bingo which presents 3 lines and 15 numbers. To win, players need to complete 1 line, 2 lines or a full house – a three line pattern. Note that the Americans and Canadians like to play 75 ball game rather than other types of bingo games. This version has a 5 X 5 grid and for a person, the player needs to complete a winning pattern which can be a letter, symbols, and shapes (4 corners).

Landmarkbingo is an amazing gaming site that fulfils every gaming need of players. The site aims to meet the challenge of presenting eclectic games to its players. It has also come up with amazing offers that wowed the players.
