Those who have been following my articles will know that there are a few things you should know about health that are literally life and death matters. So here's another one of those vitally important health tips. I realize that it's not for me to tell anyone what they should do or how to be in life, indeed that choice is theirs. However, I would not be able to promise the health and well-being of anybody who chooses to unheedingly ignore this health tip: What do you think is the biggest threat to ending your life? Is it a car accident? Or some other form of transport? ...Or perhaps... an accident at the workplace? ...Or how about... some psycho lurking around a dark corner waiting to get you..? Do you have any answers? No! It's none of the above things that's for sure. -These things pale into insignificance when compared to the answer. The biggest threat to your life is... something you see day in day out. Quite a few people may be surprised when they find out what it is because there are those without the slightest suspicion that it could lead to so many deaths (and then there's the threat of debilitating damage...). The biggest threat to your life is... Have you worked out what it is? Let the drum roll for it... The biggest threat to your life is...The food you eat! Take the major life-threatening illness such as cancer, heart disease and diabetes... etc. Whether you will live or die of these illnesses depends a lot on what you put on your plate year in year out. How committed are you to making those healthy food choices for disease prevention? Food as an investment Making sure you eat good food is more important than money: What's the point in taking all those years to pay off a mortgage with expensive furniture or plan the accumulation of other material things like a new car and savings pots here and there... when you won't be alive to enjoy their benefits, or not live long enough healthy years of retirement because of the results of unhealthy eating? Investing in your health by eating good quality wholesome and natural food beats all other investments: ISA's, personal equity plans, stock and shares eat your heart out! -So the health tip of the day is: Invest in your health.
