176. What happened to our attention spans? June 15, 2021 They say our attention spans are now worse than a goldfish’s. I’m not too sure if that’s true, but I do see instances of it being proven true. A couple of examples off the top of my head: People skipping songs before they even get to the end (Probably not the best example, but I’ll list it anyway). I had no idea this person existed until I read about him. At first, I thought he was Miley Cyrus’ dad, but nope, he’s a completely different person. 179. First impression is everything, but not really June 10, 2021 Let me start this off with an instance that you may or may not have experienced. I recently joined somebody’s email list. After being on it for a good while, I looked back at the emails and noticed some things that were off-putting. Seeing words in the subject line that weren’t separated by spaces. 188. Even when people go to extremes, they're unable to get any attention June 01, 2021 Take this video I watched, for example. It was a surveillance clip from Inside Edition showing an armed robber attempting to force a cashier to hand over all the money from the register. The funny thing was, the cashier noticed him but continued to prepare food for the customer who ordered it.
