Online video has become a significant and one of the primary tools for brand marketing and attracting more customers than before. In the current world which is dominated by the presence of different media tools, it is hard to identify that what attracts the customer more and what less. However, it has been researched that short, simple and meaningful information is always preferred by users over long, complicated and ineffectual information. The purpose of online video production is also based on this research where companies try to deliver a message in least possible time with maximum possible impact. As the technology and competition in the corporate industry have increased considerably over the last decade, there are several other factors that need to be taken into account in the process of video production. Some of these important considerations are listed as below: 1. The Special Effects In the context of media, every medium that is being acquired has some special effects that grasp the attention of the consumers. In the medium of content, the special effects are of catch sentences, sales offer and use of a bold language that stimulates the buying decision of users. If we look at billboard advertisements than the special effects are of colors, textures, slogans and the theme that is portrayed through the image. The same is true for every channel of media that is used for the marketing and advertisement purpose. So, in the case of online video marketing, the special effects are of the sound, the music, the story and the use of characters. Videos have been rated to be the most influential of all other mediums for marketing and this is because of the fact that it accumulates senses of hearing, seeing and of imagination in the users. So, if the storyline of the video is great, but it is followed with improper music quality and image resolution, then the attention of users will be diverted from the main message to the technical lacking in the video. 2. First Impress than Suggest It is obvious that the main motive behind the video production is to promote the brand name and value among the users. But, it is not appreciated to emphasis on the brand name rather than the main theme of the video. The online video on the theme of thirst can be easily linked with the brand name of the beverage or soda company. Users appreciate the idea of the company and are attracted towards it, if the company has given less importance to brand manifestation and more on the main concept. 3. The Call to Action The ultimate motive of the online video is not to impress but to attract and motivate users to avail the brand product or service. For this reason, it is very important that a call to action is given in the video either directly or indirectly. The call to action can be in the form of advantages that can be gained from the product, i.e. In the indirect way, or simply the phone number or email address of the company, i.e. The direct call to action.
