There is often chat about charities that do outstanding work overseas in the ‘Third World’ countries that offer food and shelter to the needy. They do so much more than just feed children, they assist with health care and provide skill training for the kids that are old enough and for the parents so that they can work.
However in Australia many people do not understand the need for charity organisations. Yes there are many places that cater for people that are disadvantaged, but that does not mean that there is not a lot of people in need and because it is a ‘First World’ country it is not necessary to have charities. The country could do with more institutions or people offering donations to help feed and clothe the poor. There are many church people that run shops selling good second-hand clothing for a cheap price to help the poor buy decent clothes.
When it comes to the children that are born needy and sick, a good thing for them is to go on a holiday especially somewhere close to the ocean. The majority of parents with such children do not have the money to take their kid/s on this excursion. But they have a charity that does this; it offers children that are disadvantaged a trip to the sea. They have these holidays in a camp tradition and in groups of kids, this is done so that they are able to interact and make new friends while on holiday.
Australian charity and charity organisations Australia by the sea is known for being beneficial to your health and it helps children that were sick with an illness to recover faster. It helps them to understand what a good diet is and gives them a whole new view on life. They learn social skills and communication skills that will help them when they get back home. The best part the trip is that it gives them a better self-esteem and confidence. These skills are important for them to learn so that they can remove the poverty from their being when they are older.
Many of these children come back to the charity in Australia so that they can return the favour and help a child just like how they were helped. Australian charity creates happiness, skills, opportunity and hope for these children. This is why millions of Australians donate and this is why it will continue to grow, so that nobody is left hungry and nobody is left alone.
