You probably have wondered who among all the huge number of speakers made it to Twitter and achieved a different level of stardom. I was actually in a hunt for these speakers a few days back, but I could not seem to find them via search engines. I made a couple of experiments with Twitter’s filtering options, but could not be sure of the list I’ve got. Fortunately, I found a way to extract a list of the most followed speakers using a very innovative social media tool. Twitter skyrocketed to become one of the giant social media platforms on the web nowadays. It is so popular that most, if not all, of us who are connected to the web have an account with them, growing our own set of followers. To some, this followership system may just be a way to expand a network of contacts, but to most, this has been regarded as an authority measure of someone or something. Simply put; the more followers you have, the more popular and authoritative you are. And so, who among the great speakers have achieved a celebrated status on Twitter? Anupam Kher (@AnupamPkher) Surprise! The actor, teacher, author and motivational speaker Anupam Kher is our first in this list with 1,328,546 Twitter followers. His success in over 100 plays and almost 450 films is a proof that he deserves to be followed in the virtual universe, especially those who fancy contemporary cinema. Nik Halik (@nikhalik) This man is the author of the best-selling The Thrillionaire book, which, according to Bob Proctor, will sit in a favorite place in your library of books. He’s a wealth strategist, a successful entrepreneur and an international speaker. He has 1,252,210 twitter followers as of this writing. Craig Brown, Phd (@craigbrownphd) This man is a techpreneur and has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. His experience in creating innovative best practices for IT clients makes him the ideal trainer and speaker. He is an investor, a philanthropist and has 1,159,477 followers on Twitter to prove his eminent. Suze Orman (@SuzeOrmanShow) Could it be her TV appearances and celebrity status the factor that constituted her 1,147,628 followers on Twitter? Probably! She’s an Emmy Award winner, #1 NYTimes best-selling author, a motivational speaker and America’s most trusted personal finance expert. Now, that makes people look up to her. Tamera Mowry-Housley (@TameraMowryTwo) Tamera is one of the personas behind Tia & Tamera Online Community. She’s an actress, a producer, inspiration speaker and a mommy of two beautiful boys. I am not sure though if her 1,021,513 followers is due to the popularity of the community they’ve built overtime or a fruit of her illustrious status. Anthony Gemma (@AnthonyGemma) For a Public Speaker with President and CEO statuses, plus about 977,376 of followers on Twitter, that’s got to be Anthony Gemma. He is also an author, innovator, creative marketing expert, radio and TV talk show host, and is a candidate for US Congress. Willie Degel (@WillieDegel) William Jack Degel is the owner of Uncle Jacks Steakhouse in New York City. His excellence and commitment to the best quality imaginable put him above the rest.
