Parental pressure can affect children negatively It is known that children need motivation and a "small push" in order to deal with their obligations such as school and other activities. However, many parents take pressure to an unhealthy extreme, without even realizing it.Due to their love for their children, parents want them to reach all their potential. Children find themselves forced to practice and improve on their parents' schedule. When children as young as 3 and 4 are forced to do something they once enjoyed or learn something new, they may rebel. As a reaction to their parent's pressure children may lose interest over the objectives that the parents want them to achieve. The loss of interest and the negative emotions are linked in their subconsciousness with the certain objectives that make them perform poorly. We welcome all the parents to join us in our public talk on parental pressure on 19th of October 2013 at 3:00 p.m at Block G- Ground Floor, Puteri Palma Condominium, IOI Resort, Putrajaya.
