Shoreditch - Uber cool Shoreditch is just a hop, skip in addition to a jump from the block mile city of London, but couldn't be even more different. From Brick Lanes classic stores and curry buildings to Spitalfields market and also the numerous bars and clubs in the market. A lot of innovative types live here which has driven the prices up in recent times, so you probably won't get a double room for under?? 700 a month - better get busking!

Fulham - Another south-west London gem - it's still known for being a significant posh area, although is still very popular with Antipodeans, most probably as a result of recently closed 'Slug together with Lettuce' pub on Fulham Broadway that's a very popular drinking hole in the weekends. Lots of shops and cafes, the one downside could be its transport links - while still over the tube line, it's on the District line which are often unreliable at times. Little bit, if this is not an issue, you can rent a room for about?? 550 30 days in a nice toned.

Hammersmith - An Antipodean haven due to the great location and transport links on the city and Heathrow, Hammersmith has it all - you're close to the river, shops and public houses, and the best thing - rent is incredibly reasonable. You could quite simply rent a double room for?? 500 per month.

Acton - Slightly further out in zone 3, we had to include Acton as its simply a rise of passage to spend time here when you can come. Home to the Redback Tavern, a drinking hole popular with Aussies, Saffa's and Kiwis, Acton is very cheap to live in nonetheless well connected - its only 20 minutes to Heathrow and half an hour to central London for a the Piccadilly line. It is possible to pick up a double room for about?? 400 a month way too - bargain!

Belsize Woodland - Home to help celebs like Gwyneth together with Jude this is kind of like a village within Manchester - gorgeous boutiques and a lot of cafes and quant pubs to enjoy the day people viewing in. Not far to primrose hill expect to pay more here, but that doesn't mean bargains aren't to be had! Double room will probably cost you?? 700.

Notting Slope - If you're a fan of the movie you'll probably be in need of the red door - but rumour has the idea it's been painted blue now so it might take a while! Close to Portobello Rd and some magnificent buildings yow will discover varying rent prices here pc end you choose. A double room will set you back between $600 and 700 a month.

Shepherds Rose bush - Another Aussie home abroad this area has really come alive in the last couple of years as a result of police crackdown in the area and the opening of the huge Westfield shopping centre - rents are still cheap and transport links are great relating to the central line, so it's no wonder it's popular with us Antipodeans! If you love the expensive instances Notting Hill or Holland Park but can't afford the price tag then move here as you'll be only short walk away.
