The co-owner of Pete Doherty's new second-hand shop danies that they sell cigarette butts smoked by famous people such as former Libertine, Kate Moss, Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie for £100. The second-hand shop is open in Camden's Stables Market and is called Doherty & Martin: The Rag & Bone Collection. This week, Noisey wrote that there is enough Babyshambles, Libertines and Doherty collectables in there to fill a ballroom. They sell things of little worth for extremely high prices. You may find there cigarette butts for £100 and wrapping paper for £200. Suzi Martin, the co-owner of the shop denies that such things are on sale. She told that they don’t sell cigarette butts. Probably the talk is about ashtrays that are placed all over the shop with Pete's cigarettes in them. It's like, if someone wants to pay 200 quid for that, they will not say no, but they are not selling them. Seems like Doherty does not know that it is against the law to smoke in a working place in the UK. However, Doherty himself told to NME this week that he wanted to sell cigarette butts in his shop. He said: "I've got fag butts that belong to Bobby Gillespie, Kate Moss and Amy Winehouse, and I've got Christmas paper that [former Coventry City goalkeeper] Steve Ogrizovic sent to the guy from Black Sabbath. All kinds of shit, basically." In its turn, Martin told this was a joke that has gotten out of hand thanks to the media. Martin says that the singer has been known to sleep in the store since its opening. “He locked himself in the other night to decorate a wall. He drops in and out between preparations for his tour and painting for his exhibition later on in the month." On August 27, opens an exhibition of Doherty’s artwork on Camden High Street, while Babyshambles' forthcoming album 'Sequel To The Prequel' is going to be released on September 2. The band recently released another track from the album, called 'Picture Me In A Hospital'.
