51. Admiring the beauty of business
May 11, 2021
A couple of months ago, I got into the habit of going on daily walks for no reason other than to stay active and get myself some fresh air.
I always try to take at least 10,000 steps, which roughly translates to an hour to an hour and a half of walking.
But there was one day where I decided to sit by a lake and watch a flock of geese live their lives.
I watched them bathe themselves in the lake, I watched them swim, I watched them socialize with each other and eat grass.
It was tranquil.
It was beautiful.
And then it made me think back to the days when I used to w... (read more)

52. Why everyone, even grown adults, should embrace play time
April 28, 2021
I read this great article about Steve Jobs’ former Executive Assistant releasing a new book called,
Pause. Breathe. Choose.: Become the CEO of Your Well-Being
In the book, he goes into the former Apple CEO’s habits.
Specifically, his use with his iPhone.
Most smartphone owners never turn off their phone. The only times they turn their phones off, or even restart them, are when the battery dies or there’s a software update.
Steve Jobs was no different. He always left his phone on except when he was in the office of Apple’s former chief of design officer. Whenever he was... (read more)

54. A great lesson to learn from a man who burned 30 pounds of fat by simply walking
March 08, 2021
I once listened to a man share his fitness journey.
During his early life, which was from the moment he was born to his late 20s, he was fat.
But he never thought of himself as a fat person, so losing weight wasn’t something that was on his mind.
As he got older, he started to experience the effects of him being overweight.
Breathing difficulties.
Sleep apnea.
Being out of breath after exercising for a short period of time.
At that point, he had to be honest with himself and accept the fact that he was overweight.
So he started his weight loss journey. ... (read more)

57. Am I the Only One Who Has Had Thoughts About This Issue?
January 22, 2021
Not too long ago, I came across a rather entertaining video about self-love.
It touched upon the concept of learning to love yourself first before you start to love others.
And it makes sense.
When you learn to love yourself, accept your good, insecure, and quirky sides, then you’d most likely be open to do the same for others as well.
But here’s where the video gets interesting.
It made me think about this whole concept from a whole new perspective that I never thought possible.
Loving others better teaches you how to love yourself, which also makes sense.
I... (read more)

61. 5 Mistakes to Avoid If You Aspire to Be an Online Writer
January 13, 2021
It’s no longer any secret. If you can write in English, you can earn a handsome income online. There are literally thousands of websites and online portals willing to pay for articles. That said, few “writers” actually earn decent income. Even if they manage to secure jobs or submissions, the payments are far too little to justify further involvement. That is, if they even manage to get any jobs at all. Poor command of language aside, these writers are usually sidelined because of professional concerns. As in, they are deemed by editors and clients as inappropriate, tedious, or even ... (read more)

December 25, 2020
Transformative Reach
The next speech you give will determine whether someone in your audience lives or dies. This will be determined by the words you use, how you say them, your belief in what you say, and the passion and emotion you instill in your audience.
My purpose isn’t to make you laugh. My purpose isn’t to make you like me. My purpose isn’t to make you believe.
