Do You Even Know What the Time & Season Are Or, is the King James Bible Wrong?

I did have an elevated temperature for about three days. 101.6 for about five hours on Friday, 100.1 for about four hours on Saturday, and 99.0 for about an hour on Sunday, just what I would expect from the flu vaccination. But I was encouraged to get a Covid-19 test on Sunday, and I did. On Monday night, when I felt fine, I received a Positive result of that test. Now, I know of people who have had the Coronavirus, and they had a long battle with it. But, with me, it was just symptoms of the flu. Wow, I am not impressed with this sickness and thought this would be a perfect time, being at home, to type these things out.

You know how things in the Word of God come out and haul off and slap you in the face after you have read it, and read it, and read it? You thought you had learned different situations from the Bible, the things that were in the word of God, where it is supposed to be in a particular way. You should never thank that way because God will shed his light, of his perfect will, on those verses. Just as God has shed light on certain parts of his word for me in the past year. I want to do what every good Christian should do with the information that God has given him, and that is sharing it with the entire world!

It has taken me a few trips through the word of God to find this. When I have found these little nuggets, I think everyone needs to know. I praise the Lord that he made the act of reading a chore for me. That is why I do not have an extensive library of books published by the greatest men that ever lived; about how someone views the word of God. I want to find the little nuggets through studying the word of God, praying to Jesus, and through listening to good solid preaching or the Saints of our time. Doing so, you can take the word of God and judge for yourself and know that the Holy Ghost is speaking rather than some other author through a secular book. Now, I did not say that I refuse to read all books, just books that do not hold to the word of God.

I was talking with a Brother in Christ at the church I attend. He was adamant about telling me that no one knows the day or hour of the return of Lord Jesus Christ. I told him that maybe I do not know the specific day or hour, but the time and season are getting ripe. I told him to look at, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6. If you pay any attention to the media, but not the US Media, you will see prophecy is coming forth, now more than ever. Just look at Israel, China, Russia, North Korea, Africa, Syria, among other parts of the world. You will find that everything that they are doing is in the will of God. He told me that no one except God knows the day or hour of the return of Jesus Christ. You would be a heretic if you thought you did.

Now, until last summer, I would have just had to agree with him and say he was right. But, through the reading of the word of God, praying to the Lord, listening to the Holy Ghost, and listening to good preaching, I have found out a few things. The things that I find out are significant to me. Some people may not be amazed by this, but I have yet to get a person to tell me otherwise. Well, let us see if I would be a heretic or a person who loves the Saviour intently? Let the Bible be true, and every man a liar. I was hanging my beliefs on one chapter, and that is not good. Because you need two or three books in the Bible to speak from, and I have found them.

Let's look at the scripture and find what the Lord will bring before your eyes.

1 Thessalonians 5 is a chapter that the Lord has laid on my heart. I can not quote the whole chapter to you, but I can tell you it is a portion of scripture that everyone needs to respect now more than ever. I tend to guess I would say that about the whole Bible. Because we are to, Take fast hold of instruction (the Bible); let her not go (the Holy Ghost), keep her; for she is thy life (do not ignore the Holy Ghost). Enter not into the path of the wicked (do not do foolish things), and go not in the way of evil men (do not temp Satan), Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away, Proverbs 4:13-15. Live for the Lord, not yourself, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, is not that what every Saint should do?

Revelation 3:1-6
¹ And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
²
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
³ Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
⁴ Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
⁵ He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
⁶ He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

The seven churches in Revelation mirror the church ages that the church has gone through. It also is a picture of the climate in the church today. I know that there are other Christians worldwide that face persecution daily. Over 260,000,000 are experiencing high levels of persecution, 2,983 Christians murdered for their faith, 9,488 Churches and other Christian buildings destroyed, 3,711 believers detained without trial, arrested, sentenced, or imprisoned (https://www.opendoorsusa.org/christian-persecution/), and that is within the past year. That is coming to the shores of America if we let Antifa get off scot-free, as some cities are doing. 

Have you seen what they have done to cities across America? I have, and where are the Mayors, the District Attorneys, the Counsel Members? Oh yea, they were elected, with the help of Soros and some pastors of churches. Soros even help the city of San Antonio by getting an attorney, for pedophiles of all things, elected as DA. How did he do that? Just painted pretty lipstick on anyone, give them as much money as they need, and they can do anything.

As you will find in this post, I will go to several books of the Bible. If you can not see the church of today in this passage of scripture, I think you need to read it again and again until you do? Christians now are asked to do certain things, not all of them are bad, but not all edify the person through Christ and build them up. I think the things that you decide to do for different people are just time occupiers, occupying the time that God wanted you to spend studying his word and praying to him or doing his will. Things that take time to do, the time that God has for you to do something for him instead of worldly people that want you to do things for them so they can look good.

The people who have gone ahead and went to four years of Christian College and now think they know the word of God better than you? I will admit that they should know certain things that the everyday believer does not know, but they never tell you anything that you can not find out for yourself. If you, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Is it because they feel that you do not need to know the word of God or, is it because they think it will never get you any closer to Jesus Christ? Are not those people being sort of like the Pharisees, Luke 18:10-14, I am just saying?

I thank God that Paul said God uses not many wise, not many mighty, not many noble, but God chooses the foolish and weak things of the world to confound the wise or mighty. The base things that are dispised are not to show this flesh anything. Living in your flesh is a problem without submitting yourself unto the Lord first, 1 Corinthians 1:26-29. That is why you must die daily. So, Christ can live through you. As you may be able to tell, I have never gone to a Christian College. I went to one of those secular colleges, the kind some people that graduated from Christian schools do not like. Well, I say to them, if you do not read your Bible and pray throughout the day, you will not grow. Oh, you may grow in your physical life, get opportunities, and all, but you still will not mature in your spiritual life. I think that I have gone to school to further my Christian lifestyle? The school of hard knocks is just the Christian school that God had wanted me to attend. And every Blood bought believer out there reading this post cherishes that school also.

In Revelation 3:2-3, Jesus is talking through John while in Turkey. If you read 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3, you will find that Paul is talking to the church of Thessalonica. Both Paul and John are writing the same message when it comes to the spiritual life of the Saints that are in the churches they had attended. I am thankful to the Lord that he has put the 66 Books in the King James Bible, no more, and no less, because the Bible is a road map to this crazy thing we call life. You can see how things will turn out for you by studying the word of God and praying to the Lord. You can see how things are going to turn out for your family by studying the word of God and praying to the Lord. You can see how things are going to turn out for the world by studying the word of God and praying to the Lord. In the later part of verse three, it says, “If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee...” John tells you how your life will turn out if you agree with man and do not study the word of God.

But, in the latter part of verse three and into four, Christ states through John that there are still a few people that hold to the word of God. That watch and pray for the Lord Jesus Christ return. If you are not looking for Christ to return, because no one knows the day or hour, are you going to be like one that the thief comes to still the people away, and you are left wondering what happened? Are you going to be like one that saith Lord, Lord, in Matthew 7:21-23, and Jesus will profess unto them I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity? Am I saying the wrong things? I do not think so. I am just studying the Bible out on the internet in an open way.

I wondered why Jesus gave the Parable of the Sower, and when I found Revelation 3:1-6, it all just slapped me in the face. All of the things that I have learned from the word of God are just like that. I will always thank God for them. I help teach 1st-3rd grade Sunday School and one of the songs that we sing most Sunday mornings.

Read your Bible and pray every day and you will grow, grow, grow. Don't read your Bible and pray every day and you will shrink, shrink, shrink. So, read your Bible and pray every day. It will help you grow along the way. Read your Bible and pray every day so you can grow, grow, grow.

Verses five and six, in both Revelation and 1 Thessalonians, had been written in the same fashion. All I see is that John & Paul are wanting to say that we are not going to know the specific day or hour. But, the time and season, we do not need wonder anymore. I am here to say, if you have not paid attention to media but not the US Media specifically, do you want to be like an ostrich with his head in the sand? Wait a minute? I have already written something about that, I Beg You, Do not Live Like this Ostrich!
