When it comes to family friendly winter resorts, La Plagne comes top of the list. Located near the Arpette lift, in Plagne Bellecote, it is a cross between a boardercross and slopestyle course. It is a lot of fun and a great confidence builder. Many families choose to ski in the morning and then spend time enjoying the other activities on offer in the afternoon. The dedicated sledging areas are always fun and taller kids (140cm) can have a go on the luge track at La Plagne centre, which is an exhilarating experience! There is a skating rink outdoors in Plagne Bellecote and an indoor one in Les Coches, and if you fancy a really wild afternoon, why not take a husky dog sled ride through the forest? There are plenty of snowshoeing tracks that make for a lovely family outing and a visit to the sculpture park on the glacier is a great option too.
