U.S. President-elect Donald Trump put $66 million of his own money into the presidential campaign, according to disclosures filed Thursday night. 479. Astronaut John Glenn Praised for Bravery, Service to Country

Former U.S. astronaut, Marine and U.S. senator John Glenn died Thursday afternoon at a hospital in Columbus Ohio. He was 95. In 1962, Glenn was the first American to orbit the Earth, one year after the Soviet Union put a man into orbit.
