Special purpose visa is a type of visa that allows people with distinguished status and who are declared to hold special purpose visa by the minister to enter and live lawfully in Australia. You can apply this visa if you are a member of a royal family, if you are official guest to the government of Australia, if you are one of the military crew or a member of the armed forces of the Commonwealth countries or specified Asia- Pacific countries or airline crew. Special purpose visa is a temporary visa to the people with distinguished status and who are declared by the minister to enter and stay lawfully in Australia. Special purpose visa allows you to do your normal work for the time you will spend in Australia. Special purpose visa ceases when the visa is canceled. This type of visa is not charged any amount though might be required to pay other costs like for health assessment, for police certificate or other certificates tests which may be required.
