When I tell you that this company just doesn’t stop I mean just that. On the wake of one of the most extraordinary performance I have seen in 20 years it has come up with three product concepts immediately swept up for global distribution by The Clean Plus® Product Group. The products target the existing markets of two industrial giants, and overall is worth about 160 million dollars. The Group expects sales of $ 12 million in 2010. The Clean Plus© Product Group through its press office, thought it appropriate to jump the press before the start of the launch on Monday. They advised today of the introduction of the new ‘Brilliance’ line of polishing compounds within its existing range of professional auto care products. The official launch will occur at the opening of Equip’Auto 2009 the world’s largest Automotive After-market trade show in Paris (Villepinte, Parc des Expositions). Sherry Shoholat, Operational Marketing Officer whom I had the pleasure of interviewing for the first time today, said that “Equip’Auto” 2009 offers Clean Plus© the perfect venue to launch an upgrade of its paint rectification products under the “Brilliance” banner intended for the auto body, valet and detailing professional. I would have thought Auto Mechanika in Frankfurt, but that’s one year away, so they grabbed second best. “We at Clean Plus© are pleased to announce totally new and innovative formulations for the “Super Compound” and “Super Glaze” under a new banner called Clean Plus© ‘Brilliance’.” The products will integrate the Auto Care “Pro” product line she continued. The “Pro” line is the Group’s fastest growing line. These products like the original product concepts originating in 1997 were developed in close cooperation with the global research and development facilities and scientist of FLKI. ‘Brilliance’ Super Fine compounding product provides greater flexibility for professionals while dealing with today’s more demanding paint finishes. The new products target existing markets estimated at $160 million world wide and dominated by two Fortune 500 companies. In performance test, the Clean Plus® products performed better and were 30 to 40% less expensive. I don’t know for sure, but given the products, they have the back bone to come up against 3M who also owns Meguiars, and Dupont. And why not ? The Group, and FLKI through its conceptions have successfully taken market shares from behemoths and their subsidiaries for 12 years. A new Super Nano Polish will also be introduced at the show. Overall little has changed in the underlying interest in product conceptions for FLKI and this Group. Primarily, the products must provide consumers and professionals with simplicity of choice coupled to ease of utilization. And, the product must retail at 25% or more under competing products. What continues to amaze me is that FLKI research and development continues with its pattern of repeated successes. The Product Group has grown its distribution network to one of the largest globally and this while maintaining a purchasing power price adjustment. FLKI has never waivered from their commitment to ensure state-of-the-art advances in chemistry and wet wipes technology. I should know I have followed the company since its inception in 1997. Given today’s situation and concerns, it’s a relief that FLKI product conceptions must qualify for the “Eco Pledge” seal. The ‘Brilliance’ products minimize the impact on our environment and they do so without sacrificing performance. Perhaps I’ll add a tint of personal satisfaction on that point. All of the ‘Brilliance’ paint rectification products are body shop safe so the choice for the professional is made easier than ever before. The lower price is an added benefit. FLKI Communications Office Manuel Garcia concluded “FLKI is unquestionably confident that it will continue to meet and exceed the performance of competing brands and at a better price point.” I don’t doubt it.
