We had an interesting experience two years ago. We decided to replace our carpets. We had had the same carpets for about 12 years, all the time our children were younger. We also decided to remove the old carpet ourselves, saving a little money in the process. What we found was so astounding, I was greatly relieved we didn't have someone else remove our carpets for us! There were piles of sand, dirt and water spots I don't even want to think of where they came from. We don't have indoor pets so we can't blame Fido for the circle stains. If you want to see how dirty your carpet really is, remove the carpet and take a peak at the pads themselves. It was a revelation I could have lived without. I told my husband I wanted to buy less expensive carpet and change it more often. It was an eye opener. If you aren't going to replace your carpets every few years, and few of us are, than we have to get our carpets cleaned often. Real often. Carpet cleaning in Phoenix is a must, the weather is nice most of the year, we are in and out all day long and the carpets just fill up with sand, dirt, and who-knows-what. I am a pretty good house cleaner. I vacuum at least twice a week and when the kids are home in the summer we vacuum every couple of days. Nothing compares with Phoenix carpet cleaning though for getting out the pet stains, and just the dirt of every day living. Kids are dirty carpets do just go together but having them professionally cleaned sure helps!
