I was planning on meeting a friend at a local Thai restaurant a few months ago, and after I found the place, I discovered that there was no parking left in the little parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. I went to drive out and back on to the street when my car dipped sharply into the gutter, scraping the bottom of the vehicle on the asphalt. The car came to an almost immediate stop as the engine died, and I could smell the sharp odor of gasoline. I got out of the car and looked underneath, only to discover that the scraping on the street had somehow severed my fuel line. I pushed the car back into the lot and called my company for car insurance in Richmond Hill. To my surprise, I had almost no hold time after answering the automated questions, and was told that my full coverage insurance covered both the tow and the auto repair after a minor deductible. I was informed that a tow truck would be at my location in about forty minutes, which worked out with my dinner plans. I went into the restaurant and sat down with my friend. We had a really nice dinner and conversation, and about the time we finished dessert, I got a call from the tow vehicle asking for the final directions to my location. I told him where to find me, and in no time at all, he had my car in route to the repair shop. I had it back the next day, working just fine.
