Broken hearts are rough to say the least, and it always seems like there is nothing that can fix them. Yet, it is really quite simple. So what if your girlfriend's gone? That means you can finally do what you want. Isn't that every man's biggest wish?
Beers are good for a man's broken heart...
The first step to healing a broken heart is to do something fun. Go have a few beers with your guy friends, something you were probably never allowed to do while "she" was around. And who knows how to cheer you up better than your buddies? Having a good time is a great solution to your short-term problem, but you might be wondering how it is even possible to have a good time now that you are all alone? Well, you won't get over your ex-girlfriend any more easily if you sit around and do nothing. So, get up and do something!
Healing a broken heart for the angry...
Now, if you aren't the type that can just forget about it all and move on, you might have to go another route. There is no use staring at old pictures of the two of you from that beautiful night you spent together. Go ahead and rip that picture in half. Throw her half away. Get some anger out! Pile up her old stuff in a box and throw it in a dumpster, but hopefully she took all of her trashy magazines and horribly smelling candles with her.

Then again, if anger isn't your problem, putting the pieces of the puzzle back together again might be tougher than you thought. The best thing to do is to stick to your routine. Get up in the morning, brush your teeth, and go to work. Make some plans with friends so that you don't go home to an empty house. You shouldn't change your routine because "she" isn't there anymore. Just do what you do!

Yet, sticking to your routine might not be the best option. All guys know that healing a broken heart isn't easy. However, the best way to get the girl out of your head is to replace her with another one! All guys have that girl they always wanted, the one who didn't tie a leash around their necks. Give her a call! And if you don't have one for the rebound, go out and find one. There are more girls out there than you think, and now you are a bachelor. You can do whatever you want, whenever you want. There is no reason to sit around and sulk. A wise man once said, "The next one is better than the last one!"
A heart in one piece is a happy heart...
It would be hard to imagine that you aren't the type of person who would be able to start mending a broken heart using one of these tactics. If you are, there is still a solution that works for any guy in the book. Simply do something you love to do, something that makes you happy. Every guy has that go to thing, whether it is listening to a favorite band or watching a favorite show or sports team on TV. You know what works for you, so do it.
It's a shame that girls do this, and by this I mean leave behind the best guy in the world drowning in the midst of heartbreak. The truth is that she did you a favor. Once you figure out how to mend a broken heart you’ll realize it. She doesn't know what she's missing, and that's what counts. You aren't stuck in a maze or anything of that sort. You are just like everybody else now, a man on a mission, one that has the world at his fingertips!
