As we know, thyroid problems are caused by the malfunction of the thyroid glands that do not speed up the immune system in certain conditions. There are known many types of thyroid cases but among them, the most common and easily treating are hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. Thyroid problems are divided into 5 classes. The first class is hyperthyroidism. This is the case when the thyroid gland produces too much thyroid hormone. The second class is Grave’s disease. This condition is considered to be a severe hyperthyroidism. Hypothyroidism is the third type of complications that may result after the thyroid malfunction. Hyperthyroidism is the case when the thyroid gland produces less thyroid hormone than necessary. Hashimoto’s Thyroditis is a form of thyroid problem that consists of the infiltration of the white cells into the thyroid gland tissue. In some cases Hashimoto’s Thyroditis progresses to hypothyroidism. A pretty complicated condition is represented by Wilson’s Thyroid Syndrome. The thyroid produces plenty of T4 but the body temperature is still low and patients complain of thyroid symptoms. For these common thyroid problems, some treatments are available. It is good to know that hyperthyroidism and Grave’s disease often render patients permanently hypothyroid. We also know that the general forms of thyroid problems also divide in primary, secondary or tertiary. Even so they are all treated with T4 in order to get, in test, a normal blood level. For hypothyroidism it was noticed in time that the treatment might not be always successful. The main cause for this condition is that in some cases patients suffer from Wilson’s Thyroid syndrome too. The cases mentioned earlier are pretty rare. Studies say that most of the patients with Wilson’s Thyroid Syndrome are not hypothyroid. There is a standard treatment for Wilson’s Thyroid Syndrome that is applied to the people that are not hypothyroid. About Wilson’s Thyroid Syndrome it is also known that it is more common than all other forms of thyroid system disorders combined. If you notice that symptoms occur and if the symptoms seem to be brought or even worsened by stress it is recommended to take your temperature in order to realize your problem. Many persons are skeptical when it comes to take their own temperature but many of them have surprises just when they think it is normal. Temperature must be taken regularly because an average resulted temperature will indicate you the problem. If average temperatures run about 37 C the symptoms are explained. If the temperature is less than 36.7 C it is chance for developing the Wilson’s Thyroid Syndrome.
