After the controversial issue surrounding his return on Lost, a parcel of information surceases the news, which might give a bit of clarity to Harold Perrineau’s return on the Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning drama series. Perrineau, a 43-year old native of Brooklyn, New York, is an actor best known for his role as Link in the Matrix films. Aside from playing Michael Dawson on Lost, he has also worked in films like 28 Weeks Later, On Line, Woman on Top, The Best Man, Oz, Romeo + Juliet, The Edge and I’ll Fly Away among others. Previously, the former Lost actor has been offered an opportunity to costar on a proposed series called Demons, which was supposed to be broadcast on CBS. Concurrently, Perrineau has been offered to return to the cast of Lost for its fourth season. Initially, he has opted to do both projects. But with the complications of making both shooting schedules meet, considering that one is in Hawaii and the other is in Los, Angeles, Perrineau has decided to forgo Lost and head for the new pilot. Unfortunately, it seems that his decision to ditch Lost has been impulsive. CBS has reportedly turned down the proposed pilot, and as a result, Perrineau has no choice but to go back to hit drama, which catapulted him to stardom. The question is how will his come back affect the upcoming season plot? Many expect Malcom David Kelly, who plays Walt Lloyd, the son of Michael, will be reaching puberty by the time the fourth season stars shooting. With this, producers are contemplating on bringing Michael’s character back, while addressing Walt’s maturity. Lost producers are known for bringing in bizarre themes and incorporating strange story lines in to the drama, so this wouldn’t be such a major dilemma after all.
