The world over the last few hundred years has gone through amazing change and advancement. The science behind all of these advancements in medicine, technology, and art has staggering and it is almost unbelievable to see where we are now compared to even 50 years ago. With all this change for the better, we have to be careful to take care of our surroundings so that these changes do not effect negatively. Nature is resilient and able to heal itself. There are many natural processes such as forest fires, floods, and decomposition that rejuvenate the earth and create new habitats for life to inhabit. Despite the tenacity of our world, we have reached an age where we have a tremendous effect on the planet and its resources. It is important that we acknowledge that as we continue to move forward so that we are mindful of the consequences of our actions. Industries across the globe are finding new and better ways to achieve their goals in many ways. Car companies are trying to find cars that are not only fuel efficient, but run on fuel that does not leave any kind of waste behind. Doing so helps to make the air we breathe cleaner and the resources we need more plentiful.
