Albir`s parking facilities permit you to park your hire rental vehicle directly on the 'Paseo de Estreles', views from this speck display the impressive 'Peñon de Ifach' and the resort of Calpe. Parents on vacation with kiddies will find that most of Benidorm`s Levante and Poniente beach amenities are all here in this small Spanish resort. You can wash up before stepping up onto the boulevard i.e. rinse your feet with fresh water There are 2 children's playgrounds. Restaurants, Cafes and the Bars in Albir are geared towards catering towards the northern European public and palette; many restaurants provide spacious outdoor terraces shaded with beach parasols. Albir is only a stones throw from Benidorm town which can be reached by bus or taxi Bus stops, called parada's, are conveniently located along Albir's main roads. The bus ride will take approx. 20 minutes into Benidorm`s Levante area. A single ticket costs € 0, 90. (This may have changed) Taxis may charge for a 10 to 15 minute drive between € 8, - and € 11 euros. Albir Golf is at walking distance from nearly every hotel, apartment and the beach. If you are thinking of holidaying here in the month of March then on the 19th the fiesta of San José is celebrated. In the month of May, at the first weekend, the "fiesta de la Creuta" takes place. Cheap airfare flights to Benidorm Spain's Alicante airport will give you much savings, thus leaving you in a position to have enough money to buy not a glass but a jug of sangria.
