Blinds tend to create a welcoming feeling when they are placed at an office or shop’s entrance. They also work to protect the shop or office from excessive light entry through the door and also minimize on heat penetration into the room. Traditional Dutch Canopy Awnings Canopies have popularly been used to shade the front window of shops providing the required shade from the sun’s rays. Canopies tend to come in different colors and in some instances branded with the shop or office logo on which they are placed. Canopies are highly versatile and are therefore offered in manual, retractable, fixed and electric models. Traditionally the canopies come wedged or curved in shape. Branding Printed Directly On The Awning Canopies and blinds placed over windows of offices and shops offer added functions than simply shading functions. Most stores and offices brand them with their logos as a marketing tool for the shop or office. Retractable awnings place the weather on the user’s hands. They can be put up when required and retracted to the eaves when not in use. The canopy awnings have the effect of controlling a room’s temperatures. They generally have a cooling effect because they limit the amount of heat and light entering a room which in turn helps to maintain a room’s internal temperature. Awnings offer a great place for people to shelter from the rain or shield from the sun. Awnings come with a range of accessories which can change how the awning is used. Canopy awnings are known to protect the entrance of a shop from wind and dust accumulation. Drop arm awnings are convenient for office buildings with several windows for comprehensive shading requirements. The drop arm blinds are placed on individual windows and mounted at an angle enabling the user to adjust them as required. They allow the room they are placed over to maintain an outside view while still shielding the room from the sun’s rays as required. Office and Shop Awnings
