Attending a Toluca private school brings several benefits and advantages that a public school can't provide. Many public schools are overcrowded and at times have environments that are not conducive to learning. Many of them are also focused heavily in terms of budgets to athletic and other programs rather than academics. Private schools offer smaller teacher to student ratios. This provides a better culture of learning, teamwork and scholastic achievement. Since the classroom sizes are smaller, it enables to the student to participate in discussion or debate more freely. Teachers can also build a closer and more engaged relationship with the students. Many private schools also have uniforms or dress codes. While initially this is not looked at very favorably by the student, they eventually grow to appreciate it. This is because they are dressed very similarly, no more peer pressure to keep up with the latest fashion design, logos or styles. It is also much easier on the family budget as well as consistency with what to wear every day. It simplifies everything down to being able to fully concentrate on school work and not what everyone is wearing. Educators in these settings are generally very qualified and bring very remarkable credentials. They are screened and have background checks in order to assure high standards of conduct, behavior and teaching ability. Students also respond very positively to the learning environment they help to create. A lot of these schools are also growing in size and enrollment to extent of adding athletic programs. They are now competing against both private and public schools. While the expense is higher in order to attend these schools, there are scholarships available and there are some government voucher programs that are available in certain states that help offset the cost. The state and federal government are continually looking at ways to increase the presence and growth of private schools.
