Before they can become full-fledged drivers, teenagers need to take the practice test. This sort of test will determine if the adolescent already knows the basics in driving. This part is also very important since not passing the practice test would mean he or she will not be getting the much coveted driver’s license. Like the other requirements set by the Department of Motor Vehicles, the DMV practice test should be taken and it has to be passed. If an aspiring driver could not pass the practice test, then he or she could not just go to the next level. Every level that the teen has passed will bring him or her closer to having the driver’s license. At this stage in the game, teen drivers are usually jittery before and during the test. It is up to the parents to show moral support to boost the level of confidence of their kids. What parents should do is to sooth the frayed nerves of their teen drivers. Aspiring drivers should be reminded that they can make it. Parents must also tell their aspiring drivers that the practice test is nothing new to them since they have rehearsed for it. It is only in setting their minds that they can do it that their chance of passing the test would somehow improve. The Department of Motor Vehicles is also giving away driver’s handbook that applicants can study so they will pass the test. It is now up to the teenage driver if he or she has been studying the handbook in earnest. If he or she has tried his or her best to learn all the information contained in the handbook, then the applicant may pass it. But if the aspiring driver is not so serious, chances are he or she will fail it. Sure, those who fail can still take the test again, but that would be an utter waste of time, money and effort. It would be best if your kid will pass the DMV practice permit test the first time. For the parents, the burden of making their kids making it on the test rests on them. As parents, they are the ones monitoring the movements of their children. Mom and Dad should always follow up on their teens if they have been studying the driver’s handbook days prior to the driving test.
