With so many health issues to deal with these days, there are some people that are doing all they can to establish healthy eating habits and participate in physical exercise. Having the ability to help improve their own health and keep themselves fit, some people are participating in what is being termed body rejuvenation. Taking their stress and channeling it through an exercise routine a number of people are able to help themselves heal from illness and live a better life. As someone that has been through a cancer scare and had to undergo chemotherapy treatments to kill of a very deadly strain of leukemia, I have been working to maintain my health and nutrition for the past 13 years. Although there have been challenges to keeping fit, I have now developed my own routine for maintaining my physical well being and completing my own steps to body rejuvenation. Starting with a goal to lose some unwanted weight I have been practicing yoga for the past ten years. Working to make myself flexible and strong, I have found that yoga is the basis for my continued good health. Working to promote my immune system and increase blood flow throughout my body I take anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour each day to stretch my muscles and maintain my general well being. Adding to the function of my heart, liver, kidneys and lungs I find that my own body rejuvenation is essential to my health. Adding exercises, such as walking or spending time on a stationary bike, as well as doing calisthenics has allowed me to drop 40 pounds and slim down my waistline while giving me increased energy and stamina.
