Buying and selling is the driving force of the free market. The exchange of goods and services generates wealth from the difference between transactions. When someone produces a product that people need, it can be sold according to supply and demand. Many times businesses will purposely under produce according to the demand that exists. By doing so distributers are forced to drive prices up which generates a profit that is greater than the costs of production. Other businesses take a different approach by producing large amounts of product at a time. By producing more of a product, it can be sold for less. Passing these savings on to customers or businesses that buy in bulk has been found to create an industry that is just as lucrative. Wholesale closeouts are an opportunity for bulk shoppers to get even more bang for their buck than before. When a wholesaler finds that they need to get rid of their product as quick as possible, whether for ‘going out of business’ or other, the already low price plummets even lower than before. These wholesale closeouts are extremely popular because of the amazing opportunity for businesses to break even and customers to come out on top. The whole idea behind wholesalers is to create an environment where massive amounts of product is being bought and sold. For example, a restaurant may have several distributers to secure food items from. The distributer sells to this restaurant in bulk at a discounted price and the restaurant turns around and sells the prepared food for a large profit. The distributer has guaranteed business and the restaurant has great food. They both help each other.
