Mark your calendars New Jersey, July 10th will be all about baseball and charity. Steve Kalafer, chairman of the Somerset Patriots Baseball Club, Massage Envy Spa in Flemington and Hillsborough, NJ and Sleep for Life are joining forces to help raise money for various charitable causes, and all of New Jersey is invited! The event—happening July 10th from 2p.m to 9p.m at the TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater Township—is part of an initiative to help raise money for girls’ local travel softball teams in New Jersey, as well as for the Somerset Patriots Children's Foundation—a charity close to Mr. Steve Kalafer’s heart. Attendees who purchase the $10 entry ticket will be able to sit back, relax, eat some great ballpark food and cheer on the eight teams that will be playing in four games throughout the day. During the game, attendees will also be able to purchase souvenirs like team T-shirts. Local businesses can also help raise money for the Patriot’s Children’s Foundation and girls’ softball team by buying advertising for just $100 and the ads will appear on the scoreboard as the games proceed. “We are so excited to be able to help raise money for the Somerset Patriots Children's Foundation and the girls’ teams,” says Greg Robertson, owner of the Massage Envy locations in Flemington and Hillsborough. “As a New Jersey resident, I’m always looking for ways to help out our community and important charities.
