When it comes to losing weight, you want it to be long term. You don’t think about losing weight and hope you gain it back someday. But that is exactly what happens with most crash diets and extreme exercise programs. They are designed to help you lose the weight, but what happens after you start eating something other than meat? What happens after you stop working out for 5 hours a day? These types of programs are there to help you lose weight initially, but they aren’t practical for lifelong weight loss. What you need are healthy lifestyle changes. Start a program that will continue for the rest of your life. This type of program should be gradual and not extreme. If it is something you can’t continue doing long term, you shouldn’t do it. This includes changing the way you look at food. You should begin eating more healthy foods frequently throughout the day. Instead of eating three massive meals a day, eat five or six smaller meals instead to help keep your metabolism going. You also want to slowly incorporate exercise into your life.
