Plumber Houston professionals know there are unknown dangers lurking in your house. Even the cleanest of clean freaks cannot avoid it and the keenest eye cannot see it. Mold is growing in homes all over the world and most of the time completely undetected. Mold growth in your house is hard to find and often times finds its way into the tiniest of corners and behind walls, underneath floors, and in ceilings. Exposure to mold over the course of a period of time can have a profound on your health in a lot of ways. Some people develop an allergy to the mold while others have more serious reactions that don’t require much exposure at all, depending on the strand of mold growing. Black mold is probably the most dangerous and common mold found in homes today. The source of black mold is almost always from wood exposed to moisture. When wood in your house gets exposed to water, the moisture can seep into places where it cannot be dried and quickly becomes the perfect environment for mold to take root and grow. Once mold has taken hold of an area, the wood becomes completely unusable. Many people who finally detect where the mold is growing are forced to cut out the wood and throw it out altogether. For example, if rain has leaked in from the windows and seeped into the window panes, the entire wall could be potentially festering with growing mold and require the entire excavation of it all. Plumber Houston professionals run into many situaions involving black mold, especially if a slow leak in a pipe has been happening for an extended period of time. It can be a difficult situation to fix when the leak has damaged the surrounding wood because of what has been mentioned above. Removing all of the black mold that is found is important because it can be extremely harmful to your lungs.
