One thing is constant and that is change.

Change is an inevitable part of our lives which reinforces us as well to change with the passage of time otherwise we will be lag behind. That is the rule of thumb!

The face of marketing has changed with time as well. The techniques which may have worked well for you in the past may not work today. Marketers who have acknowledged this fact are more inclined towards the germination of new ideas and those who haven’t are still living in a rut. Traditional logo designs are one of such new ideas. Although, this little phenomenon has been around us for years but as mentioned earlier, it has changed its face as well. Web 2.0 logo is one of the results of these changes.

Still beginners are not well acquainted with basic differences between traditional and web 2.0 brand marks. This is the reason; we thought to let them know how you can benefit from both of them.

INTRODUCTION:

Web 2.0 design concepts:

This new form of brand mark is around us since 2003 which is commonly known as second generation logo design concepts. The focal point of these brand marks are towards reinforcing the interrelationships germination over the internet. Therefore, web based communities are the centre of attraction for these corporate identities. Social networking platforms are the basic entities where these corporate identities are exposed. In short, every vital internet community which relies on interaction among their members will be the best for web 2.0 brand marks.

Traditional design concepts:

Who is not familiar with this type but in case if you don’t know, let me tell you that it’s a form an online presentation that is fixed. Its not made for the purpose of communication but for a general presentation of your corporate website or your online banner etc. In short, static presentation is what mainly matters in traditional design concepts.

Are we still in the phase of transition?

Yes! We are still going through a change where the dominance of web 2.0 logos is underrated against traditional forms of marketing. Though both have their own significance and thus should never be compared with each other at any case. This is the beauty of a brand mark that if it is drawn by a professional hands then it can be utilized anywhere whether its your corporate website or hoardings or print advertisement or any social networking platform because as a professional graphic designer he knows how to create a brand mark identity that will suit every place.

Therefore, the thing which matters a lot for a brand mark is the perfect placement whether its for traditional use or for web application. If a corporate identity has the ability to go well with every kind of placement then you will surely be able to get a good amount of exposure for your business, be it of any kind. Moreover, you should make sure it is drawn by a professional graphic designer’s hand so that you get a perfect brand mark in the end.
