For many years, Enterprise Control Systems Ltd (ECS) have supplied COFDM Microwave equipment to both government and private users and have been at the forefront of the design and manufacture of such equipment for fixed and rotary wing airborne platforms since the early 90’s. ECS COFDM microwave links can be used in many different applications and scenarios and can be tailor-made to suit specific user requirements. The newly uploaded Applications Page located in the ‘Product Information’ section on the ECS website, contains five, short, informative videos showing examples of working systems and applications as follows: Ship to Shore Links Maritime Surveillance and the use of a robust COFDM link at sea allows ECS to offer system solutions to aid distributed situation awareness for port protection, enforcement patrol and coast guard use. When combating maritime piracy, ECS microwave surveillance links can provide commanders with fully encrypted, low latency, high quality video, audio and data. ECS is able to provide Full Motion Video (FMV) via transceiver equipment protected to a high ingression protection (IP) rating allowing telemetry control of the remote system. Ground to Ground Links ECS COFDM Ground Equipment is optimised for surveillance use. An extensive range of covert and overt transmitters are available in both High Definition (HD) and Standard Definition (SD) enabling ECS to provide surveillance solutions for a wide range of scenarios. ECS also provides a number of covert systems for military and police surveillance use. RF Video, Data and Audio Voting System The RF Voting System uses ECS’s proprietary majority voting system in order to ensure that the signals are automatically tracked and that switching between receivers sites are seamless. The video product can remain encrypted across the network maintaining the highest security level until being decrypted in a secure network environment. Dual Channel Downlinks ECS COFDM downlinks can be used to transmit data, Full Motion Video (FMV) and audio from the point of capture to where the data is needed for analysis. The Situational Awareness that this data provides is constantly relied upon by military and police units. Dual Channel Uplinks ECS has an excellent worldwide reputation for the supply of COFDM microwave links into various air platforms and is the preferred supplier for secure COFDM uplinks to a number of airframe providers. These dual channel uplinks can be used to transmit data, FMV and audio.
