Within the realm of love I walk My heart divided and lost, Beyond the barriers of pain I see Natures early morning settled frost. The extinguished flame still flickers Tormenting my weakened soul at night, So by day I can restore my strength And hope of the flicker becoming bright. To the east I look upon the angels To the north the once bitter moon, To the west I seek out the one last love Wishing a peaceful mind comes soon. All did look lost in that time alone Until I saw then my Southern Sun, Like a speeding bullet she hit me hard Holding that trophy she had won. © Marcus De Storm Poetry Of A Modern Day Director
