Huntsville, AL – September 12, 2011 – Cabinet NG (CNG), provider of document management and workflow management software, today announced that John A. Nolan, III, a retired U.S. Army intelligence officer, author and expert in the field of business intelligence, will be the keynote speaker for its annual Collaborate Conference, October 13-14, at The Westin in Huntsville, AL. While CNG’s solutions offer storage, protection and compliance, much else is obtainable from the people in and around an organization that could put its sensitive information at risk, including proprietary information and/or intellectual property. Nolan plans to help attendees understand the issues and how to better protect their own and/or company information. “Finding ways to keep your sensitive information safe from risk is just as important as finding ways to improve business processes and efficiencies,” said Andrew Bailey, president of CNG. “John Nolan’s firsthand experiences and entertaining speaking style will enlighten and leave attendees with great ideas they can apply in their own organization. We are thrilled to have such a highly accomplished individual willing to share his expertise.” Nolan began a military career as a Special Forces Intelligence Officer and was a clandestine service Operational Officer when he retired. He later joined an international management-consulting firm serving the US government, as well as the business intelligence and counterintelligence communities. In 1991, he co-founded Phoenix Consulting Group in Huntsville, a firm which provided services to the Federal Intelligence and Special Operations Communities and pioneered the application of intelligence disciplines to the business community. Nolan is also an adjunct professor at the National Defense Intelligence College, and a regular lecturer on economic and competitive intelligence issues. He has published extensively in the International and Competitive Intelligence disciplines, and is the author of eight books, including CONFIDENTIAL: Business Secrets – Getting Theirs and Keeping Yours. Nolan received his undergraduate degree from Mount Saint Mary’s College and his graduate degrees from Central Michigan University and the University of Southern California.
