You need to do a keyword research to ensure you are selecting the best keywords for your internet site. They can bookmark some sites but much of the time they should search for new releases, subjects, and new occurrences. And they are going to search websites to test the appropriate web sites. As competition is serious in all niches.

Back to the fundamentals. Since we're a pet shutter-bug and we are found in Vancouver, BC, Canada, we'd need a results a little nearer to home. I can just presume that folks in Vancouver looking out for a pet shutter-bug would search for one in Vancouver. So , using the term Vancouver Pet Photography. The term Vancouver pet photography in Google, returned 1,870,000 results, which makes Vancouver Pet photography a better keyword with less competition. Now let us take a look at : Vancouver pet shutter-bug this keyword yielded 3,360,000 which is three x times more the last keyword we researched. I'm certain this gives you an idea of how we ensure we have al list of all of the keywords that a possible customer might use to find your internet site. Now you have gone thru each keyword and got to find out how much competition there's for that keyword it gives you a better concept on which keywords to use. Now a fast tip. Optimise each page with only 1 or 2 keywords. Do this to your whole web site and ensure you have a very good navigation system on your internet site therefore that if your potential customer searches for dog pictures and ended up entering your internet site at five pages in, he's still capable of finding what he's attempting to find because you've got a great navigation system or sitemap that may lead him to the right page. Also, for more competitive keywords you would need to create more pages for that one keyword.
